My partner and I have been coming up to Minneapolis regularly for over a decade. We look forward to spending the morning at the Boiler Room with a cup of coffee and a waffle, while we study. Today was the worst experience we have ever had, making us reconsider are visits in the future. We were not greeted with a hello, when asking for cream employee just pointed, when our waffles were ready we just heard "first" ready, and at the end an employee shouted "put your dished in the bin."Besides the lack of greeting, the fact that many of the other customers were warmly greeted, breakfast items were warmly delivered to individuals tables, dishes were just brought to the counter and taken back to the dish room, they were not shouted out to claim their order or shouted at to place there dishes in the bins.Guest and regulars should be treated the same, guests and regulars should all be treated warmly and in a welcoming manner. Not sure if the new management or new employees do not understand this or if it was just a bad day.I hope that the staff will understand how important it is to treat non- regulars with kindness, this is how your grow your customer base.

Have gone here a few times and is normally really good but today missed the mark big time.

Really great atmosphere, you could get a lot of work or creative endeavors done here. Came here for the first time today after being attracted to the menu I saw here on Google, but it was sadly out of date and their selection has been drastically simplified. For COVID reasons, perhaps. Still a great spot to hang out!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available on the right side of the entrance.

Great coffee, chill vibes, friendly baristas. They sell art and some plants and have the usual coffee shop books and games wall. There are a couple bistro tables outside. Street parking. It's quiet and calming here. My only wish is that they had coconut milk (they do have oat and almond).

The coffee is both affordable and tasty. I ordered the Iced Mocha. They had a good variety of desserts. I enjoyed the LGBT+ atmosphere. It felt very welcoming here. The tiny little cactuses and succulents are inexpensive. The larger plants are a little pricey. There's a cute little bookshelf in the back, and there are pieces of art for sale by local artists. I will be back!

As my friend put it, The Boiler Room has a 'New York' vibe - first level of an apartment building, slightly below grade, funky mix of tables, very good coffee, good pastries and good service. A nice place to sit and chat away an hour without an overwhelming sound system or ambient noise.

I love this coffee house and consider it as my personal café. The coffee is strong and the espresso stronger, just as one should expect of any serious coffee house. The clientele is rather serious and polite to each other without the craziness that sometimes frequents the larger chain coffee stores of the nation. There is art in the wall, books and games in the bookshelves and plenty of potted plants for sale. This is a place where the employees come to know you by name. My favorite drink: a café miel. If you appreciate honest reviews, buy one for me and let the cashier know that it is for Donald / Hushasha. Thanks!

I’m over it. You guys used to be my weekend stop pre pandemic. Now I feel like an inconvenience as a customer every time I’ve been back. To not get acknowledged with a simple greeting as a person is wild, especially when I’ve been tipping the same faces every time I’m in. As a former coffee shop barista and manager, please reflect on y’all’s business.

Nice little coffee shop with a lot of different choices for drinks and pastries. They also have some sandwiches if you want to get lunch. I didn't test out the wifi but there were plenty of tables with space to sit when I went this afternoon so I think it would be a good place to sit and work for a few hours.

First time visit.❤️Crafted coffee ☕️ was delicious and Ham and Pepperjack cheese Quiche was wonderful. Art and plants give off a warm community vibe. Plus, there are some board games too. Great ambiance and music. I’ll be back!
