Pick-up order — I’ve had fugazzeta pizzas in Buenos Aires and have it regularly from Argentine restaurants in Mexico City. I think the food has tremendous potential, but the execution is perhaps too adapted for the Midwestern palette. The flavors were a bit bland and the cheese was way too heavy relative to the dough. All I tasted was the cheese, which, while high quality, didn’t really let any of the other flavors shine through. The margarita’s sauce was extremely sweet and lacked any savory / acidic balance.Again, tremendous potential and love what they’re trying to do here.

Gluten Free Only ReviewPepperoni Pizza (GF) - The sauce was a touch too sweet, but the main problem was with how watery it was. As anyone who is forced to eat GF will know, watery liquids and GF “bread” do not mix. Instead it becomes a wet, gritty, spongy mess. The cheese and pepperoni had good flavor.Empanada (GF) - Oddly, the GF crust was the opposite of the pizza. It was quite tough, and hard to get through (gnaw through). Filling was good.

It was kind of empty when we went, but the staff was so kind and the atmosphere was cute & cozy. The food was SO good though, and reasonably priced. We got 2 empanadas, a pizza & a beer, and the total with tip was ~$50, which was perfect for a chill date night. I would definitely go back for everything we got, I want to try all the empanadas on the menu. 10/10 recommend

Came in 45 mins before closing and they seemed like they didn't want to serve us as we asked can we still order and they were hesitant. I was really looking forward to having dinner there with my family and was expecting nicer costumer service.

My kids ask for this pizza all the time and I am happy to oblige. Kids love the pepperoni and wife and I enjoy their other offerings (as well as the pepperoni). We also go to their place at 38th and Nicollet. Can't go wring. Empeniza's are also delicious.

The food is a win every single time. Service can be hit or miss but is usually pretty decent. Order at the counter, they bring it to your table, bus your own dishes. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Puerro, Jamon Y Queso, and Messi empanadas will steal the show. They come with wonderfully fragrant chimichurri that delivers just the right amount of bite.Vegetarian options: Some meatless offerings on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Most items can be made gluten-free for additional cost.

A bit pricey, but the empanadas were truly incredible, every single one. The dipping sauce cups, I’ll admit I don’t know what they were, but they were the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Extremely flavorful.

Ambiance is so cute, it's a vibe in here with the dim lights, candles, and Latin music. Cleanliness is questionable - patrons walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom, so who knows who is going through there with what germs. It is also very self serve. Get your own plates, napkins, etc. which is questionable for me on a clean level. Pizza was ok. Nothing to rave about, and rather expensive. There isn't a guide as to the size of the football shaped pizza, we ordered two and ate half of both. Would have preferred sampling an empanada if we had known, our photos and menu make that hard to decipher. We ordered a regular pepperoni and a sarandara pizza. Pepperoni was a little more saucy than we prefer, and not a lot of pepperoni as pictured on online menu. Sarandara was a heavily cheesed pizza with a pound of arugula "salad" on top with a couple of cherry tomatoes cut in half. The arugula was dressed in just olive oil. I was highly disappointed in the way the greens were integrated into a pizza. Could have been done delicately with flavors that complimented one another. Service was alright, nothing exciting at all. Price seemed steep for what we got and our overall level of satisfaction.
