Same Bon Chon as in NYC (or other cities). Nice fusion of Korean and also some very but few Korean dishes. Definitely with stopping by keeping in mind Lake & Hennepin closures for now, although there is ample parking around.I hope you try the soy garlic chicken, bibimbap and the fried chicken obvi. Go. Enjoy!

There is only 1 bad item on the whole menu and that’s the fried doughnuts. Skip them unless you want oil flavored bread with a hint of cinnamon sugar.I would highly recommend the soy garlic wings, bulgogi fries, pork buns, or chicken katsu. The wings in particular are the perfect level of crispy/saucy without being soggy or bland. The lunch special for wings and a side is probably the best value you will find in this area. The employees are always kind/welcoming/efficient. I’ve witnessed an interaction with nightmare customers and the employees somehow managed to stay calm and kind despite the customers rude behaviors. If you’re in the area, i would highly recommend Bonchon.

Recommend the soy garlic! The two drumstick meal is the best, comes with fries and the donut!

Wow is all I can say. Got the combo of wings and drums and also 50/50 sauces (Soy Garlic and Spicy). Wow, this is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Loved it!

never fails with this location! Food is always fire, but tonight I came fore drinks and some homeless person came in and took my drink. Although it seemed pretty funny to me and wasn't too pressed about it, the staffed noticed and took care of me. Service is on point ?

Food is good, only complaint is they’re very stingy with the amount of sauce they put on the wings. Like it’s a minuscule amount. Also, your only options for sides that come with the wings are radishes or coleslaw. They won’t let you substitute it, so if you want fries, you have to pay a whole extra 7$.

I’ve been passing by this place for the last few months, so I decided to finally check it out and try Korean Fried Chicken for the 1st time. I ordered the combo spicy and soy garlic chicken, seasoned fries, coleslaw, takoyaki, and Korean donuts. The chicken was very good and I liked the breading. They were very crispy and the 2 flavors tasted great. The coleslaw & seasoned fries were also good. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the takoyaki. I haven’t had takoyaki before, so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look or taste like. However, I was expecting it to be a little crunchy on the outside. Instead, it was very squishy and didn’t seem like it was cooked long enough. The Korean donuts were fluffy and tasty. I would recommend getting the icing dipping sauce with the donuts. My order came out to $38, which is a little pricey; however, I did get a good amount of food & I will be coming back!

Frustrated by customer service. I placed a carry out order, grabbed it, and got home. The store had forgotten the coleslaw that comes with my dish. I call and mention it, and they offer either I can come and get one (it's 5 minutes before they close, so no), an extra coleslaw next time I come in (I do not want double coleslaw with my katsu, I just want the one I ordered), or offered $2 credit next time I order. But they don't take my name, number, or anything. I asked if they'd offer $5 (it's not just about the cost of the coleslaw, but the fact that they blundered). How are they even going to honor the $2 credit without my information.Pictured: my coleslaw-less katsu, and a sad empty bag :'(food's always great tho, three stars overall

The place is small but has enough space, and the server is friendly as well. It has a funny smell inside, but i know better than to judge the food on the smell of the restaurant. But when i ordered my dish, the smell was coming from the food! i was super hungry, so i ate the tacos anyway. im not going to get them again, though. The korean donuts were what made me want to walk out, idk what kind of oil they made them with, but i couldn't finish even half of one. I'm sure there are people who would love them, though.
