We like coming here. Good menu with variety for everyone and nice atmosphere. I also like their non alcoholic drinks for brunch. We did order the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was just a patty chopped in 4 and placed on the end of the burrito. That could have been done better.

The food was outstanding, the service average (rather inattentive), but it was the noise level that was intolerable. The app on my phone clocked 103dB as the AVERAGE on a 12-second test. That’s just too loud to be enjoyable. It is unlikely my friends and I will ever go back for this reason.

Not your typical local restaurant. Clean facilities. Great service. Menu was painfully West Coast new American. Flavors were great though. Parking left a lot to be desired.Parking: Small lot and a lot of 30 min only parking for other business in same building.

I wouldn’t typically order a straight up, tofu appetizer but because it was so highly recommended by the server, we tried it. It was FANTASTIC! Super crispy amd flavorful and the sauce was spot on. What I love about this Restaurant is that you’re almost always able to get a table even if you don’t have a reservation.

The restaurant gets full on the weekend very quickly, so might need to wait a little if you go late. I didn’t have to wait and got a table right away. The tofu is crispy on outside and soft in the inside. It’s drizzled with sweet savory sauce and with each bit, you keep on wanting more. The korean pancake was also tasty and delicious. It was well seasoned and same sauce drizzled on top, along with two sunny side up eggs. I didn’t like the ham on the side as much. It was salty to my taste. The rice bowl could use more seasonings to make it flavorful and not bland. I enjoyed the living and fun atmosphere the restaurant brings in.

After the my first taste of my warmish Surley, I was worried. We are typically pretty easy on places but there were so many things that did not work at all here. The few goods: chai martini, Korean meat skewers, atmosphere was pleasant and that was about it with our party of 4.The really rough spots: chicken - beautiful presentation - Wayyyy over cooked - stringy and rubbery. Pickled vegetable plate-olives (not pitted - a warning would’ve been good) and a couple of pieces of cauliflower - all smothered in balsamic (on top of the pickled flavor??)-that was NOT a vegetable tray!. Cauliflower bruschetta - no hummus and again, TONS of balsamic - overpowering and bad. Brussels sprouts - really odd taste versus interesting like they sounded on the menu. Fried potatoes salad - interesting but literally a dab of the sauce that was gone in two bites. Salmon - meh. Service - felt like we were on an island…. Kitchen spent a ton of time plating and making the food pretty. Needed more time on the actual food.

Great service. Friendly waiter who offered good suggestions. Really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. Wish menu had a few more options.

Went on a lovely date for Valentine’s Day. The prefix menu was OK but not selections we wanted to partake. We ended up with the wood fire Red Chermoula Bone-In Chicken and Mediterranean Salmon. The fish was a bit overdone, but I should’ve specified I like it warm. ? The vegetables served on the plate were grilled to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy with a lot of spice. What stood out was the service. Our waitress was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and frankly over the top attentive.

Food was very disappointing. Braised Beef Ragú had neither beef nor any flavor. The staff was inattentive and we were left to believe they had forgotten about us on several occasions. Very underwhelmed with the dining experience.

Only went for drinks but the espresso martini is to die for! We will definitely be back.

Do not get the Korean Steak Skewers from the app menu. TWO Tiny mouse sized pieces, half of which were inedible. Barely shareable! The large rectangle plate was supposed to look styled but it was just sloppy and took up a lot of space. The waiter was great and apologized and gave us a second for free but that steak was just as bad-fat and gristle. Chef-Know your cuts and the fact that meat shrinks when cooked. Put 4 skewers on the plate for $12 and I may consider coming back.

Do NOT order takeout from Book Club!! We’ve eaten at the restaurant and it’s always been decent - but literally every single time we’ve ordered takeout - they screw or up in some major way. The food is FAR inferior to the food they serve in the restaurant. Tonight, we got skewers that were half burned, half raw, and on wood skewer sticks that were burned down to nubs AND the steak was ice cold even though we were there well before it walked out of the kitchen. The fries were like bottom of the barrel pieces of fries and we got half as much as you do in the restaurant and lukewarm. Ordered roasted winter vegetables - they gave us smashed potatoes. Before, we’ve had plastic melted all over our food, missing items, usually cold. Take my advice - don’t order takeout!
