Love the place and coffee. You will wait 15 min for a cold brew though, because only one person makes drinks--so your quick "Grab and Go" drinks get stuck behind 6 in house lattes. Not sure if this is true for drip or not, would love an answer.

Bordertown Coffee in Minneapolis is a haven for coffee connoisseurs. The extensive menu boasts classic coffee choices, along with an array of tempting teas and tea lattes. My latte experience was nothing short of exceptional—the milk was perfectly prepared, consistently creamy, and adorned with the perfect amount of foam. What sets Bordertown apart is its unique location inside an old house. The ambiance is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort, with inviting tables, plush couches, and tucked-away study nooks. The attention to detail in decor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment of your visit. Bordertown Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's a destination where every sip and surroundings contribute to a memorable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking both quality beverages and a charming environment.

Bordertown is by far one of my favorite places near the U of M campus. You really have to look for it since it’s in the middle of the block. Love the charm of the building, makes for a great study or work spot if you can find a seat. Drinks are good, tried a seasonal beverage and it did not disappoint. They definitely put care into your order.

We waited quite a while to order during a midday rush. My mocha was lukewarm and I could barely taste the coffee. My husband's decaf Americana was too hot to drink for 10 minutes. There sweet no bakery products left. Be aware this is a student hangout. We were the only ones in the crowded space over the age of about 23.

The barista here is one of the best. Perfect pulls, beautiful latte artwork. A gem among baristas. The almond blueberry Muffin was also fire!

My favorite coffee shop on the UMN campus! I usually get a flavored latte here and it is always a good balance w/ the coffee and flavor. Their pastries are also very good (I really like the rosemary+ chocolate chip muffin). Seems like a great place to study or meet up to work on a group project, although I usually just get my coffee to-go first thing in the morning so I'm not sure how busy it gets later in the day. Cool old building and seems like a great space!

Charming little café adorned with cozy armchairs and inviting window nooks. The ambiance is truly delightful, featuring a delicate interplay of warm lighting and verdant flora, making it the perfect setting for savoring a cup of coffee and indulging in delectable pastries. Plus, the added convenience of complimentary Wi-Fi adds an extra layer of appeal to this serene haven.
