We had reservations for six and it was not a very good experience. The staff was not friendly. They never greeted us or anyone as they came in the door. The service was lackluster our food was cold and The waitress acted like she was annoyed to take our order. with all the delicious restaurants-that around in the north loop you would think they would be on top of their game. We will not go back.

Our server was a delight- he joked with us and provided excellent service. The food was wonderful and we had a really nice time.

Everything tasted really good. Seafood spaghetti was white and very tasteful. Caesar salad was very fresh and we also got a appetizer of tiger shrimp which was cooked perfect with a very yummy sauce. They had a baklava cream tart that was to die for omg.

Food was ok but was expecting more for the price point. The thing that made the experience bad was the awful wait time for anything from our server. Drinks took a while, food took even longer (1+ hour). My lobster spaghetti was lukewarm when served.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Shout out to Steen at the bar. Kind and fun and makes a bad ass expresso martini šŸø

We dined at the Borough table at Dinner Du Nord and it was a wonderful experience. The service and food were excellent, and the staff made the evening most enjoyable.

The food was excellent but the service was bad. On a Friday night it was not that busy yet the server would disappear. It took forever to get drinks as well. I won’t return.

This was the first time we visited this restaurant. It would be considered new Americana and we found it overall very good. They're grilled shrimp and heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella are are both great appetizers, my wife enjoyed the salmon and I had their lobster spaghetti which was also very good. FYI, their dinner portions are on the smaller side, which is perfectly fine just so you know. We will definitely enjoy and look forward to visiting this restaurant again in the near future.

When we were seated upon arrival, our server greeted us and things started out fine. After we ordered, it was almost impossible to get our servers attention. Later, two people at our our table wanted more drinks but our server did not come to check so they did not get more drinks. Our server said he would bring some bread, but he didn't. We had to ask someone else to get him to bring our check at the end of our time there. The food was average and expensive. We will not go back. It was a disappointing experience.

Honestly disappointed. Table of 7, and the only thing people were pleased about were cocktails and a shrimp appetizer. Examples, for about $40 I had lobster spaghetti. Very small portion, tasty sauce, zero actual lobster meat in it. Similarly, the foie gras toast didn’t taste like it had foie gras in it. It was like Borough put together a good menu and then the kitchen cheaped out. Didn’t hate it, but no desire to go back

Great quality meal with pleasant attentive service. Dining room was perfect size and sound level for dinner conversation. Starters were more interesting than entrees but entrees were delicious and perfect portions. Dessert would recommend the baklava tart 100% Appreciate the simplicity in the menu.

The food was phenomenal and our waiter was so witty and friendly. The vive was very chill and relaxing. The only downside was that it was pretty expensive. It was so worth it though!

I wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars… but I can’t.

A small group of us went to dinner here last night and were treated so rudely, specifically one of my friends.

Most of the staff were friendly except unfortunately our waiter set the tone for the rest of the evening.

Noah H. (waiter) needs additional training on how to communicate to customers. He asked our table if anyone had allergies, one of our friends mentioned she was pregnant. His response was… so not an allergy… she said: well it does mean I have dietary restriction. She was giving him the heads up that she might need to modify her meal because she is pregnant. Why try to correct her… instead just say ā€œokay, I will make a note of that.ā€

An item on her Lobster Spaghetti had something she can’t eat being pregnant and she asked if it could be removed. Instead of just saying yes, he tried to explain that she can have it and when she said no again… he finally agreed to remove it and then talked down to her and asked if she could have the lobster….

A lot of the issue was his tone as well. He was not attempting to be funny… he was being rude. Towards the end he may have realized it and started calling us all friends… but no… doesn’t begin to make up for how rude he was. A friendly apology would have gone a long way instead.

We were all so uncomfortable all evening. We were so close to leaving. He was trying to arrogantly ā€œcorrectā€ my pregnant friend… when in fact she was correct… and she also has the right to request an item to be removed from her dish… pregnant or not… without being talked down to.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, especially about an individual. But his service needs some polishing. I truly just hope Noah H can be retrained on how to appropriately handle dietary restrictions. We don’t talk down, correct, and basically shame someone for what they can and can’t eat… regardless of their situation.

As you saw, I still gave them 3 stars. That is because the food was excellent! We had a wonderful meal! Delicious steak!!! I would recommend their food to anyone, I would just recommend a different server.

Also, one of my friends paid cash… and still got charged the 3% credit card fee… they add it on prior to knowing your payment method. (That’s sneaky and wrong… just be aware!)
