Brasa Premium Rotisserie- Northeast Minneapolis

This has been a go-to of mine for years, both dine-in and takeout, and it's not once resulted in a bad meal. But here's what gets them a 6th star out of 5: they are the only establishment I've ever found that deals with tipping the way restaurants should—the menu announces that "tipping is not expected" and there is no service fee either. The menu prices are just what they need to be for staff to be given proper wages and benefits.

Finally writing a review for the E Hennepin Ave location. I’ve been going here for a few years and consistency is really important to me. Every time I go the service and the food have been great. The food comes out delicious and hot. Also the portions are consistent too. You know what you’re getting and it’s never disappointing. If you have any issues they will correct it without push back. Unlike some places where they’ll argue with you. No place is perfect, but know it’s a great place overall.

I cannot recommend Brasa enough. We have been in the restaurant several times, but more recently, we chose Brasa to cater our wedding, and everything from the food to the communication with the events team was excellent. We had appetizers served during cocktail hour in addition to dinner, as well as cookies for dessert, and everything was delicious - we received several compliments from the guests about the food.

The events team was super easy to work with too, and made sure to answer any questions we had. The staff onsite during the wedding were timely, professional, and friendly. We would highly recommend Brasa for their catering services.

Super great homestyle food. My fried catfish was delicious! Our server was fantastic and very friendly. The vibe is relaxed, comforting, kind, and fun!

Kid-friendliness: Very nice server who accommodated my daughter and even entertained her a bit. They do have a kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Access is easy at the door, but only one designated handicapped space.... Although there were more on the street.

was visiting MN for work & found this place on google. The food was really good! The chicken alone I could eat by itself with their green sauce. My one side with the chicken was yellow rice & beans which was good too! I ordered a side of Mac & cheese and it was not bad but I wasn’t crazy about it! Service was nice & fast! Overall, I enjoyed my experience!

Food here was just so so and overpriced. I ordered the smothered chicken plate with yellow rice and red beans and it came out lukewarm. It was a super small portion and actually made my stomach hurt. The Yucca was the only thing that came out hot and was good. We sat on the patio so everything was primarily get it and do it yourself which I didn't really like. I had to ask for bags because there was none out and the service was just meh. Also during our visit there was a mouse that came on the patio ? talk about disgusting smh Overall we spent $50 on a smothered chicken plate, two piece chicken (which was super small) and I belive it was supposed to be a jambalaya with shrimp and sausage but there was barely any sausage. Definitely don't need to go again and don't feel like the price matches the quality or quantity you get.

My husband went here recently to celebrate our anniversary, and this place did not disappoint! They had a ton of delicious options to choose from for anyone df, gf, vegan!
I ordered the cx salad sandwich, and Yuka fries with green sauce! So good! Staff was very friendly, Food arrived within minutes of ordering, waitress regularly checked in with us- definitely returning again!

We ordered a group order for lunch and they forgot one of the meals. When we called to tell them, they said it wasn’t their problem and couldn’t offer a refund for the missing meal. The person on the phone was so rude and short with us, I was SHOCKED at the abysmal level of customer service. Used to love this restaurant but definitely will not be going here anymore.

My wife and I like to visit, usually annually, but we always leaving wondering why we don’t eat there more often.

The food is tremendous. We get a lot of small portions and share, which is totally the way to go before their whole menu is great.

Beers on the patio in a beautiful summer Minnesota day is exactly what it need.

The food was impeccable as it always is: comforting, flavorful, great portions, and seasoned well. The servers started out friendly but then asked multiple times if we wanted boxes starting about 10 minutes after we got our food, which felt like rushing us excessively. It's also very loud in there if there are more than 3 tables of people, so not a good spot for conversation unless you can get seated outside.

Parking: The parking lot is tiny so I never even bother. There's usually street parking within 5 minutes' walk.

Lunch on a Tuesday. Quick service. Had the smothered chicken sandwich and plate. Both were EXCELLENT. Loved the coleslaw on the sandwich with the red sauce. Preferred the sandwich over the plate but I did eat it open face with only half the bread . Absolutely would come here again. Patio seating was nice as well, however it was extremely hot when we went so sat inside. Very small parking lot. Metered street parking available.
