The place was smaller than expected but its a different concept. Im not sure if the inside is open but the patio is covered by greenhouse coverings and has 2 tvs and some fans. The only liquor is mimosas that is given in a plastic cup. You also get plastic silveware. The food wasnt bad but wasnt memorable. I got the chicken and waffles and my husband got the catfish and grits with a side of eggs. First the wings were very small and the waffle cannot be freshly made so im guessing they come frozen. The catfish was done well but needed some seasoning and the grits were not fully done. Im not a fan of the seating arrangements but understand they have to make due. The price seemed reasonable before the portions came out so i cant agree as it doesnt compare to similar places and to have to pay for parking is insult to injury. The service was just okay as they made us waiting for others at different tables to get their orders together so they could get it all at once. The music was the best part for me. I know people dont know when there being reviewed which means the service and food should be the same for everyone.
First off not very inviting , we were never served our drinks, was told that the shipment was being brought in and she would bring drinks after looking at everyone's ID.....long story short neva again fa me, Thank you
First time checking this spot out and I liked it.! The food was tasty and didn’t take long or get my food. Service was great and the employees very wonderful!
Best brunch place I have ever been too! The southern food was full of flavor and the perfection portion! Best grits I have ever had and the server Meyana was polite and super speedy!! Highly recommend!!
I was told to leave with my service animal. I was unable to eat here the place does not look very clean and it was pretty empty on a Saturday morning I assume because the food isn’t great either I just ate at fogo de chao yesterday with my service animal who I have for medical reasons and there was no issue
Worst experience ever- they would only seat us outside in an enclosed hot stuffy foul smelling greenhouse area- then refused to move us to a table with shade, after 10 minutes still no service - we left!!! Highly disappointing experience!!! Poor customer service!
Horrible service probably the worse I’ve experienced came in after a wolves game with a few of my clients. We went for food they made us stand in a empty line for 30 mins then charged us $20 each to enter waited on our food for over an hour just for it to come out cold the food was terrible as well as the service I wouldn’t feed it to my dog highly do not recommend
First and last time I will be dining here
Our Server was trash with an ugly attitude ,
food was disappointing and cold !!!!!
atmosphere felt DIY but in a bad way
I wouldn’t recommend Breakfast Bar of Minnesota to absolutely no body
It’s almost laughable honestly
Plastic silverware are you kidding me ??!!
Server Didn’t even check in to see how the food was tasting
I guess my limit of having water is one cup
I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I’m doing yall a favor !! Only thing that we were grateful for that was actually good was the waffle we had lol
I had the Salmon Croquettes and it came out looking like a hockey puck !!! L.O.L
Hot sauce condiments were dirty
The salt and pepper were disgusting to touch
Like everything was BAD
Don’t let this photo deceive you
This is an amazing place to get breakfast! Great flavors, lovely staff!
When in Minnesnowta, I'm hitting this spot. Always here. I should get a vip table when we eat here cause I'm always here and usually with 10 plus people. I don't know who owns the place but this spot needs to be kept going. Be back next week.

Horrible service if you want to sit for a hr and wear an invisible cloak go here because the servers will walk by you 30 times without talking and once you do order you can expect to sit for another 60 minutes honestly don’t know how this place is still open if I could give zero stars I would
This such a good spot omm! Great vibes with the R&B music. The service was amazing shoutout Nana!! The food was so firee🔥 I ordered jerk shrimp with cheesy grits and biscuits… they hit the spot so bad lord have mercy!😫 Shout out to Carla in the kitchen holding it down by herself- she did that!! We was here 2pm on Friday so the lunch rush was just over, which was great not too many people! My 2 girlfriends and I split a bottle for mimosas too for $15 and we was set!! Nana told me they get lit at night time too so best believe we will be back!
terrible costumer service the man that i believe owns it was steadily yelling at people , food was okay waffles are very thick made my whole parties stomach hurt tho.
I went inside to order take out. I was given the menu then when I paid I was told the menu prices were not correct and was charged more than what was stated on the menu. Portion sizes are small! Catfish, yams, and greens meal was $24.XX.
We went to Breakfast Bar of Minnesota on a Saturday night, and honestly, it was a letdown. When we arrived, the bouncer checked our IDs and told us there was a $20 cover—not a huge deal, so we paid and went inside. There are stairs right in front of you, but you keep straight down the hall and turn left to get to the restaurant.
At the front counter, we asked how things worked, and the waitress (who was actually really nice) told us to head to the back patio, and she’d come take our order.
The patio was packed—the music was good, people were having a good time—but there was nowhere to sit. The bigger booths? Bottle service only—and they wanted $450 for that. If you’re not paying for a bottle, your only option is to stand around or hope a small picnic-style table opens up. We wanted to smoke hookah, but without a table, that wasn’t happening.
We decided to at least get some food. When the waitress came back, we asked for 24 wings for the group, but apparently, you can only order them in sets of 6. So, we ordered four orders of wings—$85 total. For wings. At that point, I knew we were getting finessed, but we were already there.
Luckily, a small table opened up (with two chairs for our group of four), so we finally had a place to sit. Then we find out that food, drinks, and hookah are all sold at separate stations, meaning you’re swiping your card three times for everything. It felt disorganized and honestly just annoying.
The wings? Okay. The drinks? Mid. The hookah? Fine, but not worth the hassle. We definitely overpaid for the experience, and it wasn’t giving what it should have.
We’re from Atlanta, so we know a good lounge and hookah spot when we see one—this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a fun, smooth experience, this place isn’t worth it.
Would not recommend.
