Every time we go to Minneapolis, my wife and daughters drag me to Nu Look (next door) where they like to spend hrs shopping. I'm grateful that Broder's gives me an escape where I can hang out and stuff my face while I wait. The food and service are just as awesome as their staff.

Upon arrival at Broders Cucina Italiana, we were met with an unexpected challenge — the seating options were remarkably limited. The main dining area felt cramped and unwelcoming, a stark contrast to the cozy Italian ambiance we anticipated. To our dismay, we discovered that an entire section of the restaurant was used up for snacks & shelved items where all of the tables used to be.The situation downstairs was no better, as it was exclusively set aside for private reservations, leaving us with no viable place to enjoy our meal. The lack of accommodation was disheartening, and it became clear that the restaurant was not prepared to host walk-in guests adequately.Regrettably, the seating fiasco overshadowed the allure of the menu, compelling us to leave before we could even place an order. It’s unfortunate that our experience at Broders Cucina Italiana was cut short due to such an oversight in customer hospitality.

First time customer at Broders Cucina Italiana today. Stopped by for a late lunch on my husband's recommendation.Had the PASTA SUGO BETTI with Meatballs and their house-made fresh fettuccine pasta. It was so good!Reminded me of being in my Italian neighbor's kitchen with a large bowl of fresh pasta, drenched in slow-cooked tomato sauce, and piled high with meat and shredded parm! Those memories taste amazing!Thank you Broders!Only caveat - first time ever eating an Italian meal and not being offered bread with it.

The major ding against this place is about their pricing. They are in my top three pizzas in the Twin Cities metro area but just getting a small (12") sausage mushroom pizza, which i did the driving to pick up, came to $35. Is it a great pizza by Minnesota standards? Yes it is but I travel a lot back and forth to New Haven, CT, home to pizzas that always rank as the top in the whole country. My stop is always Pepe's, which is often ranked as the #1 pizza place in the country. The exact same size pizza with the same topping, after tax + tip, comes to $23. I know that it would be unfair to try to make a comparison on taste/quality between Broders and the best pizza place in the country. But I can make the very objective comparison based on price. There is absolutely no reason that a Broaders pizza costs 52% more than it does in CT, which actually has a higher cost of living, taxes and employee pay.Sorry guys, but how long did you think that you could get away with this, especially when all of your customers can see all the new renovations that decreased the capacity to comfortably sit down and eat, to optimize floor space with similarly overpriced items. If you can't sell pizza for significantly less than you currently do, that just comes down to an issue with business acumen.

Truly a Minneapolis classic. Broders' is the epitome of classic Italian cuisine. Their breads, sauces, and dips are all amazing and baked fresh daily. The store is lively and wonderful. Make sure to try the crisp bread with the Herb & garlic mascarpone. Unreal.Parking: Great lot in the back of the building. Plenty of street parking in walking distance.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Way over priced. The local stuffed up people love this place. It has very good food but feel out of place when I stop in. The local snobs make sure I'm not from the neighborhood.

I ordered the Chicken parm with spaghetti noodles to serve as a main at a dinner party I was hosting. They were super helpful, gave great recommendations, and the food is so so good. I have had a ton of leftovers and have been genuinely excited to eat the same freakin meal from them over and over for the following days, lol!My only feedback would be that you should probably serve the chicken parm in a separate container as the breading got quite soft (and a little mushy) even after the short drive to my house since it was in the hot pan of noodles and sauce etc. It was still incredibly delicious and I again ate it for several days after, but it would probably have kept better if it had been store separately from the get go.I am very much a potato girly not a pasta girly but you are converting me. Thanks!

Fantastic spot. We went to their deli to purchase the homemade pizza dough, sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Once you get the real ingredients, you can never go back. Best ingredients for making pizzas on the Ooni.
