Went for my birthday dinner before show downtown. Got in right away and were seated in a warm comfortable spot. Our waitress was super. Prompt and friendly. There were 4 of us so we shared a Caesar salad, lasagna and garlic bread. The salad was good sized and tasty. Lasagna was massive, rather dry and ho hum. I had a coupon for a free birthday dessert. Turned out to be massive as well ...brownie chunks topped with ice cream and whipped cream. I didn't have any but the others loved it.

The food was good, basic Italian fare. Not impressed with the huge "for sharing" portions. I would not recommend for a couple unless you want many nights of leftovers.

We went there because of a nearby event. We had not been for many years, and won't be back. We got the Chicken limone (?) and it was 40.00 for 3 very small pieces. We were a party of 3 - and it said it feeds 3-5. Yikes. No way. The broccoli was fine, as was the dessert. Nothing was really good - and totally not even close to what it should have been for the price. The service was fine - but won't be back. Better value and food at Chili's or The Olive Garden vs what this cost. No Thanks.

Overall - 2/5 I mean, it's serviceable if you're just really craving an ungodly amount of microwave-ready olive garden. I will come back to use my coupons for when I need to feed a lot of folks fast. The menu I was handed was dirty. It had some sort of dried sauce on it which particularly disturbed me. I wondered how long it had to sit there to dry up, and how long it would continue to sit there if I didn't say anything. Food - 2/5 I tried the lasagna and pomegranate martini, my partner had the fettuccine alfredo and a long island ice tea, and we shared an order of garlic bread. The lasagna was alright, the fettuccine was fine, the garlic bread was okay, but the drinks were actually pretty good. I especially loved the pomegranate martini, though I would not pay $15 for one again. Service - 4/5 It was obvious our server was trying to do his job well and be fun, but they made a very awkward first impression when they asked my partner and I if we were brother and sister. This made me especially uncomfortable as a trans man, but I do have a very round face so I understand the mix-up. After my partner clarified that I was their boyfriend, the server said "oh, even better," which didn't do much to make it less awkward. That aside, Troy did comp our dessert since it was my partner's birthday and signing up for rewards doesn't go through until the next day. Overall, very kind person. Ambiance - 1/5 There were several unsettling photos on the walls likely sharing Buca Di Beppo's history. In them I saw women, but none of them seemed happy. They all seemed to glare at me while I ate. On top of that, the restaurant is so cramped it makes walking through it feel more claustrophobic than being in a full elevator. Value - 2/5 I will never come here without a coupon. Yes, the portions are large, but that does not make up for the quality of the food. I will just take my partner to a nice restaurant next time. Noise Level - Quiet

We had A great experience- it was really a treat to visit the original location where the Chain started. We were visiting from out of town but dined among guests who were clearly regulars and we were treated like old friends. The food was delicious, comforting and generous. Highly recommend! Almost as good as dinner at grandmas with the whole family.

This was a nice place. We'd gone there prior to a nearby show-one within walking distance. The only issue we had was that everything was served family style, a pretty good deal for parties of 4 or more, & there were only 2 of us, & no single serving entrées. So we had a lot of leftovers. Fortunately my car was on the way to the venue we were attending, & the weather was cool enough so that the leftovers wouldn't spoil. We made the reservation through Open Table, & I really don't recall that there was anything on the site mentioning that food was only available family style, & not for single servings.

Furst, the host couldn't find my reservation even though our party already had one check in. Instead of helping, they told me I could look for my party. Then our appetizer and side was cold

Halloween evening...so it was a quiet night. That did not stop our service or quality from being perfect. Caesar salad and Stuffed Shells tonight. Perfect amount of table touches from our server. It is rarely this spot is as quiet, but always delivers on ambiance and deliciousness.

Our server Jayme was excellent, the perfect blend of attentive and giving us our privacy. Buca's was homey and cozy. Our table of 13 felt intimate and it was easy to hold conversation. The food was delicious and we can't wait to return!

Buca has amazing food. What I didn't like was that we had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation before we got seated. Meaning we had to rush through our meal in order to make our show. We made reservations hoping we'd have time to savor food and not have to rush.

Atmosphere is cute. Each dish serving size feeds 3-5 people which makes it fun to share. Food took ~45 min after ordering to get to us. Chicken parm was a little tough, and the Alfredo was a little bland. Overall Food quality similar to/slightly under Olive Garden but the space and concept is nice.

We ordered spicy garlic shrimp pasta and received chicken rigitoni. Didn't figure it out until the second bite. Let the hostess know she said she could get what we ordered but then our garlic cheese bread would of been cold. We also ordered there world famous meatballs which we never received although we were not billed for it. The waitress never did stop to or ask if we wanted our drinks refilled. Beautiful setting but horrible service and the food was marginal.
