Never opened for lunch? Was craving some BBQ and I work in downtown MPLS. Reviews of this place looked good, so I decided to check it out on a Wednesday for lunch. Plugged it into my GPS and it says it doesn’t open until noon. A little weird, but I decided to go. Arrived at 11:57, and waited until 12:10. Never opened. Signs on wall had specials on Wednesdays from 11-3, so I don’t know what the deal is.

If you are a poc or someone from the south, you got to try this spot!!! I surely got home sick the moment I walked in. I loved the atmosphere, the service was great, and don’t get me started on the food…. We had Mac and cheese, red beans Ave rice, black eye peas and rice, and brisket. It was phenomenal… I’ll definitely be back

They have catered to two of my familys wedding. Everyone loved the food. It was gone so fast, so order extra food. Great service, Greg helped alleviatea lot of the stress of a wedding, his calmness put us at ease.

First time customer but I'll be back. I ordered the rib tips and wings combo (3 wings and 1/2 pound of rib tips) and it was delicious. The rib tips were meaty with a great smoky flavor and the crisp chicken wings had a tasty rub. The photo shows only two wings because one didn't make it home. ??‍♂️

1st timeer tonight. This is one of those places you walk into and know it's going to be good. Sort of a whole in the wall but the ribs are probably Thr best I have had in Minnesota. Prices are very reasonable. Sauce was great. Definately Wil go again and try something else with the ribs.
