This place was a great lunch spot! The restaurant has 4 tables inside, all close together, and small stools to sit on. Very family style atmosphere and the dishes that our food came in were like the ones my grandma has in her cabinets. The vibe was awesome. Very basic menu, but I loved my food. Got the #8 pho, spring rolls and cream cheese wontons. The wontons are the triangle style, and very crispy with standard cream cheese (not the sweet kind). The spring rolls were probably the best part of the meal. Great flavor balance and a kick of mint that did really well with the meaty-flavor peanut sauce. The pho broth was mild and I added a decent amount of Sriracha and Hoisin sauces to the mix to brighten it up. Not too many noodles, great amount of protein, and got a side plate of bean sprouts/basil/lime/jalapenos to add at your discretion. Would go again, would probably sit outside since it's small and I'm loud lol.
Ordered takeout this week - beef pho and veggie fried rice. Both were great, we will be back!

This is the absolute best pho in the twin cities- the steak is my favorite but the chicken and pork is great too!!! I can’t recommend it enough. They are also great and very fast with the food.

This is my new favorite restaurant in my neighborhood! It is outstanding. So far I've had the bún bò hué, egg rolls, and spring rolls. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The service was very personal and sweet, it seems to me like it's a family-owned business because of the care they take. And the atmosphere is perfect: just 4 tables, and simple decor with the door propped open. I felt like I was traveling and in a local Vietnamese restaurant. Cozy, friendly, and the delicious food make Cadao Express a winner.

This was the first place I went to as soon as i landed in Minnesota. This small family owned restaurant has the best Vietnamese food you'll ever try. It was my first time trying Bun Bo Hue and it was delicious, the owners of this small restaurant were so friendly and so kind, and they treat you with so much love it made the experience very memorable. I would definitely recommend Cadao Express for anyone who is looking to get a delicious Vietnamese meal made with love.
I tried so hard to find an authentic Bun Bo Hue(Beef noodle) for the longest time until I found this place. Very authentic and awesome people. The pho tasted just like what you would get in Vietnam, you know it’s legit when there’s a layer of “grease” in your pho and beef noodle

Coming from someone from southern california, this pho is as good as it gets in the twin cities! (Yes, even better than the over-hyped Quang). The bun bo hue and special pho are my go-tos for takeout, and the kind owner always makes sure we've got all the toppings and generous amounts of meat included.
Great takeout- I recommend heating up the broth on the stove!!

The Pho was AMAZING! I’ve had Pho at multiple different places in TC and ones that were on shows but this one was amazing the broth was so good and egg roll was superb!
