Edit: They renovated, and I love the new, bigger interior! I tried banh canh cua (crab udon) and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but maybe because they reopened recently. Will come back to try other dishes.

Tiny restaurant with authentic vibe. I tried the bun bo hue, and it was not bad but I’ve had better in the city. I would go here for a quick fix to my vietnamese food cravings because of the location convenience.

Visited Cadao Express for lunch today. The newly remodeled and expanded location makes for a more enjoyable dining experience. The chicken & rice platter was delicious with a reasonable price tag. The restaurant was clean and service was great. Highly recommend the new Cadao Express.

Much larger after the remodel but the food is not as good as it used to be. The pho used to be amazing, now it's just average.

Impressed! I was in the area and decided to stop by for some pho, and I’m so glad I did. The place was spotless, the food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Great people here! I’ll definitely be coming back many times!

We had egg rolls, sesame chicken, and bun bo hue, and I have to say they were all EXCELLENT. The fried rice was exactly how you want it. And the staff was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

decided to try a new spot for lunch -- great vibes inside, person working the door immediately gave me a cold bottle of water on the house, wait time for order felt appropriate, food was good. I got the sliced beef pho to-go. excited to try more of the menu.

Probably one of my favorite Vietnamese food places within the Twin Cities area, if not my favorite, and the entire vibe, which is definitely hole in the wall, allows one to know that their food has got to be good. While I have only ordered a few items from them so far, I have found them all to be great and worth a try for sure.

Everything ranging from the spring rolls, which had an abundant amount of items including pork and shrimp, to the bun bo hue had been authentically on point. The bun bo hue was probably the spiciest one I have had anywhere, and it contained a good amount of flavor. I was given a lot of meat of various types in it, including the kinds of pork that I didn't eat. I still appreciated the courtesy, though, despite not eating it. The pho wasn't in a large bowl, but the bowl itself was filled with all kinds of ingredients from meat to noodles, and of course, had broth that contained an abundant amount of flavor.

Towards the end, I was also given free Ferrero Rochers, which I also appreciated. I have been here several times and the chocolate wasn't a guarantee every time, so just a heads up there, but it's okay since I wasn't expecting them to begin with. Apparently they had a lot of Chinese food options as well, which I would love to try upon my return here!

It felt like I was back out East touring countries. The food had great flavor. General Tso was great - super sticky sauce on it. The pho had great broth - very tasty. The beef in the pho was a good portion and there were tons of noodles. I didn’t care for the egg rolls, personally.

I think the ownership changed as the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls are not nearly as good as the past
