This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.

One of my wife and I, hobbies is to try new upscale restuarants in the Twin Cities area, so we eat out frequently and are rarely impressed. This was our first time dining at Cafe Lurcat and we were positviely blown away by the entire experience. The food, service and ambiance were abosulutely superb. Our server gave great recommendations, and the entire staff went above and beyond: From the entrance greet, to delivering the food, to manicuring the tables, to serving desert, to thanking us and wishing us goodbye. The entrire staff seemed to be genuinly kind and not contrived. I'd like to thank the server (Jed or starts with a J) and entire staff for an absolutely delightful experience. Will definitely return!!!

Beautiful earlier dinner by the window. I recommend going an hour or so before sunset. Food was delicious and our service was perfect. We had a sitter for 3 hours and our server turned our meal into a 4-course so we could take our time. The support staff were also great. Felt well taken care of. Worth the spend; dinner for two was $250ish for four courses and drinks. Thanks.

Always a great experience at Lurcat. I had not been there in a long time since I moved from Minneapolis during the pandemic. I found that the food, experience and service are as exquisite as ever. However, it has gotten very pricy.

Absolutely the best duck I have ever had. The sommelier Ross was a joy and very genuine and very informative.

Food was excellent. My only criticisms were that our appetizers came after our salads and the Sunday menu was not pointed out, which would have greatly reduced the amount. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

The beet salad was delicious with complex and satisfying flavor throughout. The ambiance is upbeat, elegant and up lifting. Nick was very kind and helpful with menu and wine choices. Service was friendly and prompt both table side and after dinner at the bar. Thank you!!

We had dinner here for our first anniversary. They couldn't have been more wonderful and, of course, mon compliments aux chef. The oysters and the duck leg with fois gras were outstanding. Also, Ross is a killer sommelier. We shared a few of our favorites and he showed up with a very moderately-priced — but killer — red blend from Paso that made the evening perfect. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to our first anniversary celebration. It was more than I could have hope for.

Always an A+ experience here. The Sea Bass at Cafe Lurcat is my favorite menu item in the Twin Cities and the service was fantastic and on point as always. Can't wait to go back.

We had a delicious meal and wonderful service from Josephine. The seared scallops were absolutely amazing. We tried the Rainbow Trout Rillettes which was a dish we'd had before and it did not disappoint. All staff were kind and friendly. My French 75 was perfectly mixed as well!

Amazing venue for anniversary celebration. The sea bass and the pork chop special were both exceptional! And the desserts were very awesome too! Great service and recommendations from our server, Emily
