Please just be aware the veggie and cheese tamales contain pork lard. As of now, it does not say this on the online ordering menu. I bought a bunch for an event and couldn't bring because we were not allowed to bring pork out of respect for the Muslim families in attendance.

Inside Mercado Central, you'll find this great place. They have these delicious tamales, coffee and other traditional Latin breakfasts like arroz con leche, and others. I go as often as I can and bring back pastries (a separate business within the mercado) for our office personnel. Highly recommend.

This is the only place I have ever bought my tamales since I was young, my go to tamales are, Oaxaqueños and tamales dulce de elote. I will never stop getting them from here. I really wish they had a location here in Huntsville AL. I 1 Billion % will always recommend and support LA LOMA TAMALES. ?????❤️?❤️?❤️?

I went for some tamales as usual, I said hello and the girl didn't answer, the nicest man answered me and I asked for 10 chicken tamales and five pork tamales. When I get to work I find that they only gave me 3 chicken tamales and 5 pork. I called to complain and instead of receiving an apology for the mistake, the very arrogant and rude girl told me “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO, you got what you paid for” and I repeat that was not what I asked for. I gave you my card and paid for what I ordered. So I asked if there was a possibility that they would bring the rest of the tamales to my work and I would pay because I couldn't go out anymore and they told me that they couldn't. I understand that we all make mistakes but that is not the way to treat customers.

They are By Far the Best Tamales you will eat in the twin cities! ? The texture and flavor of the Masa is real good! It's a little corner spot but there is table and chair at the dinning section and you can seat and eat
