What a lovely experience! Came where with a friend of mine and we decided to stop to get a drink. They let us walk back to where you can just order from the coffee menu if you’re not planning on sitting at the restaurant. The best part? My little friend wanted juice, which wasn’t on the menu but they were able to use what they had and poured her a cup of pineapple juice. They didn’t even charge us for it. We also got a chai which was great and we also a gluten free treat....
I'm biased because I love a museum restaurant, but Cardamom takes the cake as the most beautiful one I've been to so far. The space is bright and open, and the patio area is almost completely shaded.
We came on a Wednesday for lunch and were seated right away. The service was friendly and quick and the food didn't take too long to come out. I got the Chicken Shawarma Pita, which was more filling than it looks. The different textures came together...

It was Happy Hour So we ordered the Lamb sliders but they had sold out. So we got the Falafel sliders (gtreat flavor) and the special Pilsner and Old Fashion.
We then split the babaganush and
Salmon. Both excellent.
We ended tge meals with the Saffron Creme Brule and Pistachio Latte.
