Cappuccino was bitter. Over extracted. Acidic. If i didn’t see them pull the shot, id swear it was just drip coffee with scalded milk. Threw it away immediately. 😔

Long rant here. By far the worst Caribou location I’ve visited, and I am a Caribou fanatic. I mobile ordered while waiting for my baggage on the carousel, thinking it would be ready by the time I retrieved my bag because there was only 1 other person waiting for their beverage at the end of the bar and nobody in line. I ordered at 3:09pm.
I walked over and 2 people were now waiting for their drinks and 1 barista was watching a movie with his airpods in and his phone on the counter, moving slower than molasses and taking breaks to look at his phone screen. After we all stood there for a bit 1 drink was finally ready. Again, nobody in line.. 1 barista half working, and 2 others wandering around behind the counter? The other guy waiting had been there since I walked over from the luggage carousel. I asked if he mobile ordered and he said nope, I ordered at the counter. Another 5 minutes goes by and he finally gets his 2 drinks.
One employee is now helping a few people order at the counter while the barista again is just standing. I’m trying to get his attention and he won’t look. He makes 2 drinks for the people who had ordered in line, VERY slowly. One lady waiting turns to me and says “I’d yell at them. That’s gotta be the least energetic lady ever” about one of the other employees who took about 10 minutes to stir her drink that she was waiting for. Finally the other employee comes over and I said excuse me? I had a mobile order 15 minutes ago, did it go through? I gave him my name and he said he’d check. He goes yep! It’s here! and walks away. The barista grabs the sticker that printed for it, stares at it before crumpling it up and tossing it in the garbage! He makes eye contact with me and goes “we’re out of ____” and is about to turn around and just not help me at all, when I said okay i’ll have the other flavor instead then??
He grabs a cup, drops it into the ice bin, picks it back up and proceeds to use it to scoop basically an entire cup of ice into it. (This is totally wrong and disgusting, you add ice at the end of the drink, and use a SCOOP to do it. Not a grubby cup!) Not to mention wearing basketball shorts and a sports tshirt? Caribou has a dress code for all employees but apparently that doesn’t apply here.
WHAT are we doing??? I worked at a very fast paced Caribou in another location and therefore am appalled at this one. When did everyone get so lazy? And I finally got my pre-ordered drink at about 3:30! Mind you it wasn’t even coffee. It was an energy drink that literally requires water, 2 syrups and some stirring.

10/14/2024 - We bought coffee & pastries at this shop today AND the customer service was TERRIBLE! The manager was rude to pretty much anyone that asked questions about their order. There was an old lady with black curly hair(you know who you are) she was rude, dismissive & couldn’t pronounce anybody’s name. I know times are hard but here’s a word of advice: if you don’t like working with the public go get another job! Because guess what? People like me are gonna give you just what you give us. And for the record…I’ll just go to Starbucks next time TFOH
The barista was by herself in a packed airport and had my food and two drinks faster than a fully staffed coffee shop. I’m not sure how she did it, but she deserves a raise.

Not typical of me to leave reviews. “Kimberlee” who seems to be the main barista up here needs to be taught some manners. I ordered ahead but she didn’t have skim milk so an empty coffee cup with my name on it sat at the counter. When I asked one of the employees very politely about my coffee, Kimberlee very loudly and rudely expressed her opinions about how “ people shouldn’t be allowed to order ahead. I’d called her name several times but she wasn’t here so she’s gotta wait!”. I’m a paying customer that availed a service the chain provides ( order ahead)- not sure why she was so rude. I did not even try to hurry them along. Tbh employees like this need to be fired because it ruins the entire airport experience and sets a tone for the journey. Terrible experience.
I waited at the front of the line for almost 10 minutes while two staff members seemed to work together on the same drinks. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or undertrained, but they should really work on acknowledging the increasingly long line of customers and maybe explain what’s going on. I just needed to buy a food item and ended up just asking them to ring me up already but jeez!

Took 15 minutes to get a large campfire mocha with no line, while other people were being serviced ahead. Had to remind them about my drink and they move with no sense of urgency.

8/19/2024. 3:36 am. Rudest employee ever at Humphrey airport!! Brown hair pulled back older woman. Don't ask what time they open. Sometime after 4 is the answer. When asked specific 415 ,420? "I SAID AFTER 4!" was her exact reply. She needs to go work somewhere else. We don't like getting up early either for these flights. Not everyone that takes a flight is on vacation. Think of that when responding to the customers that keep your area open for business. She filled out the application which meant she wanted the job. Maybe act like it or quit and find something that makes you a better person. Boss might need to rethink this employee.
