I placed a remote order for a coffee and donut. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told they were out of donuts and to pick something else instead. I chose a coffee cake, and when I politely asked “Messiah” ? if it could be warmed up, the staff member’s reaction made me feel like I was inconveniencing them.

The app showed the donut as available, so it was frustrating to learn it wasn’t. On top of that, the service came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Another staff member “African American woman” even made unnecessary, condescending remarks as I was leaving.

The food and drinks themselves are fine, but the service has been consistently below expectations, and today’s experience was disappointing.

My iced latte was delicious,( extra shot of espresso), and the server was charming! This was drive- thru, so, we'll excuse the atmosphere! Didn't order food- this needs a N/A option.

We are from out of town and bought 6 pounds of coffee that we needed to have paper ground, and they were very gracious, and did that. Well, we were sipping on coffee and a pastry.

I came in to do some work on my laptop and wanted to try the passionfruit yuzu energy drink but I wasn't feeling like caffeine. They mixed up a drink for me with lemonade/sparkling water and the yuzu flavor so I could have the taste I wanted without the caffeine. The bagel I got came out perfectly warmed and was exactly what I wanted.

Never again at this location. I just wanted a Nitro Cold Brew Black with a shot of flavor. I told the sever that but I was told that they couldn’t do that and that I would have to order a Nitro High Rise. This has dairy - I’m intolerant which is why I wanted a “black” with a flavor shot. Nope! Couldn’t get it. I asked if they had hazelnut syrup - “no”. I asked what else they had and the guy wouldn’t tell me. I had to name a flavor until I came up with something they had. Then I had to choose a dairy alternative - that I didn’t want - remember, I wanted “black”. I asked if they had soy. “No.” No offer of the others. I asked, do you have oat milk, then I got the list. I asked for Oat. This was supposed to be a cold coffee but they steamed the oat milk so it was lukewarm. ALSO they put whip on it. I had no idea what I was forced to get so I had no idea it had whip. At your competitor, they ask if you want whip when you order a dairy alternative. Not at Caribou! So they had to make it again. How hard is it to get what you want - a nitro cold brew black with a flavor shot. Instead they tell you what you want at this location and when you don’t know what that is, they roll their eyes and won’t help you with the options. Horrible experience. I won’t ever go here again! The staff at this location need training on customer service, patience and familiarity with their products.

I feel like with this location it is always a fail on the quality check. 1/4 inch from the rim with oat milk. I constantly get about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of room from the top.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I left this Caribou feeling genuinely hurt and uncomfortable. I had placed a mobile order and accidentally sent it to the wrong location , a simple mistake since both stores are on the same street name. When I got to the drive-thru and they couldn’t find my order, I checked the app and realized the error. I figured I’d go inside and see if they could still make the drink, even if I had to pay again.

When I walked in, I stood there for a few minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Eventually, one of the drive-thru workers noticed me and kindly said it was okay. She assumed it would be fine since it was an honest mistake.

But right after that, things got really uncomfortable. The other staff started talking loudly to each other , not to me, saying things like, “She has to pay for it,” “We’re not just going to make it because she ordered it somewhere else,” and “Well now that you told the customer, we have to.” It felt like they were all frustrated with the one employee who tried to help me, and I was just standing there awkwardly, like I wasn’t even there.

No one ever turned to me and explained what was happening. I would’ve been completely fine paying for the drink if that’s a policy of Caribou. I have worked at Caribou and know that mistakes like that happened. I just didn’t expect to feel so dismissed. After waiting about 15 minutes with no update, no drink, and no acknowledgment, I quietly left.

I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect basic respect and communication. I am thankful for the customer service of the one person who tried to help, however, I ultimately left unsatisfied.
