I have ordered twice now and both experiences were exceptionally wonderful. I’m so thrilled to find Trinidadian food right in Uptown Minneapolis. Perfect spice, not too salty and the roti is DIVINE-perfect pull-not gluey, layered and delicious. I look forward to ordering again! Anisa the chef was so attentive and genuine you can tell this food is made with love and care. Highly recommend!

Channa Kitchen has truly top-tier food, and the owner is incredibly kind and talented. This sounds like an exaggeration but I quite literally dreamed about these Doubles after trying them the first time. Can't recommend it enough!!

Our takeout from Channa Kitchen was incredible! Wonderful communication from the kitchen to time our pickup. The tilapia curry, doubles, and veggie talkaris were so flavorful and perfectly cooked. They are operating out of ghost kitchen so you have to pre-order and pick up. Can't wait to go back!

After 5 years as a Caribbean-American in MN I’m SO glad I found Channa Kitchen. The food is authentic, delicious, and reminds of what I grew up with. Truly haven’t had anything I haven’t liked as yet and doubt I will. Keep an eye on their instagram for specials!! Anisa’s pepperpot for Christmas time nearly brought tears to my eyes with how much it reminded me of home.

I have not been to Trinidad, but have enjoyed its food in NYC and elsewhere, and Channa really seems to deliver on the authenticity! There is great care put into the preparation and packaging of all the various dishes, and the quality of ingredients is evident in the vibrant flavors. And it’s such a pleasure to interact with them on each order… they put a lot of love into their operation!

Thank you, Anisa, for sharing your incredible food and warm hospitality with this community! Your holiday meal package was perfect for our date night and your addition of home made hot sauce was delightful! We will be back. All should support such a worthy business.

I've been searching for authentic Trinidian food. Seriously carving it so bad and by chance I came across Channa's Kitchen. Absolutely amazing food! Reminded me of my childhood and really made me miss my mommy (in a good way of course). It's never been easy to find authentic Trinidian food here, as there was only one Harry Singh's which is now closed. I'm so happy for Channa's Kitchen, not just the food but the people (Anisa is amazing) So you want to taste real authentic Trinidian food? Then get online go to Channa's Kitchen and place that order. You won't be disappointed. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹

Channa Kitchen is such a treat to find at the farmers markets! The doubles are incredible, soft golden bara filled with spiced channa (curried chickpeas) topped with the perfect balance of pepper and chutney. Ask for heavy peppa if you like it spicy! It’s the kind of food that warms you from the inside out! A real Trini comfort food.

The owners are always so friendly and full of positive energy. You can tell they love sharing Trinidadian culture and building community through their food and conversations. I always look forward to their weekly specials, which bring even more delicious Guyanese and Trini comfort foods to the table.

Every visit feels like catching up with old friends. real nice vibes and real good food!

I'd order a few different items off the menu, and even though the website was close for off season Anisa the owner opened the site back for easy ordering. Every items order was delicious. Pick up was very smooth with free street parking and ofcouse the connection made between the owner and my family was beyond what I was expected. Will definitely reorder again.

The corn soup is amazing, especially if you are not feeling well. The combo of sweet and savory is very good. I always order when it is available, and it always seems to be when I need it. Channa Kitchen always puts her heart into what she makes. I will always support.

We spent all year looking high and low for the perfect beef patty to serve at our wedding. We had just about given up when we saw it as a menu item in a stall at our local farmers market. After scarfing one down, we had to go back immediately for another, where we struck up a conversation that started it all!

Channa Kitchen catered our 35-person outdoor wedding reception lunch. We had dreamed of exposing our guests to dishes from the Caribbean side of the groom's country, and Anisa's knowledge of Trinidadian cooking combined with her willingness to dream with us made for a tasty, meaningful, and expertly executed menu. Anisa was friendly, easy to work with, and willing to work inside of our budget. She was a great communicator, and we could tell she cared about our experience. She took care of setup, which was thoughtful and beautiful, and took care of our guests, taking time to answer their questions. She even plated up some dinner for us, making sure we wouldn't have to think about what to eat that night. We're happy we were able to support a small, local business and we look forward to working with Channa Kitchen again in the future!
