We come here a lot and usually the customer service is appropriate. I was disappointed on this visit. The person was washing dishes and after about a few minutes the person came to the register. Didn’t greet, didn’t smile, and didn’t apologize for taking time. I had to be the one to say hello. The person didn’t even ask what I wanted. I understand that some of these members are college students. At the same time, it’s important to demonstrate exceptional customer service to ensure customers come back and refer the place to other members of the community. I don’t blame the management but I do think this needs to be addressed to all those that work the register. I even asked if she was new and she immediately asked why. I was in the hope’s to speak with the manager just to provide live feedback but unfortunately they were not there. I’d also suggest to move the size of the cups near the menu on the wall then to the right side. The music can sometimes be a little loud so if you’re looking for a quiet place just bring some headphones.Overall the tea is delicious and the products are great.

I came here and got a taro slush one time! That is my go-to order at almost every place. I really really like the interior and can see myself coming here to study. It is very calming and fun inside. Also, the service was so good! The workers were very nice, respectful, and caring. Honestly, the taro slush wasn't the best, but I can't hate too much because they did their best. I could taste the individual ice chunks inside it, though. I'm sure their other orders are really good! Overall, a good experience!

We ordered two lattes. The first one came out after a minute or two. It was hot, but pretty blande. We thought they forgot about the second one, but we were fine to split one because it was so mediocre anyway. 5 minutes later the second one came out. It was lukewarm. No idea why it was served at such a low temperature.. but by that point it didn't matter. We just don't the first one and cut out losses.

Chatime is my go to place for boba on campus at the University of Minnesota. Their menu is extensive and super customizable, and they have a few cute tables to sit and study at. The menu changes seasonally, but right now I recommend getting the Passionfruit Green Tea with your favorite toppings!
Grace helped me today! I love matcha but had heard good things about a few other drinks. She suggested the matcha one with soy milk. She told me to make sure to shake it up good. So good! And she was so nice too :)

One of the things I love about Dinkytown is how many restaurants there are. Stopped in at Chatime and ordered two bubble teas with boba. This was my second time in and while the aesthetic is SUPER CUTE, the tea itself is too sweet. Compared to other bubble tea places in the area, this is very lackluster bubble tea. If I were to return a third time I would recommend ordering at 50% or 75% sweetness.

I used to love coming here but after the way I was treated today I will not be coming back. My friends and I came in with food which we have just found out is not allowed. However, we are completely willing to follow the rules. But the way that the barista made us leave was very rude. When our drinks (which weren't even made correctly) were finished she threw them at us and then when we were about to sit down she yelled at us when all she had to do was calmly ask us to leave. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
