I've ordered from Chengs many, many times - but no more. For whatever reason, my egg foo young was absolutely disgusting today. The gravy was thicker than peanut butter, and the flavor was just... off. Its never been like that before, and I don't know what happened to make it like that this time, but I couldn't eat it - gross enough that I will be ordering elsewhere going forward.

I haven't ordered for a year. But for many years have found the food to be delicious in large portions. I often order BEEF & Vegetables. You can watch food being cooked in large Wooks They are always busy.

My shrimp low mein had a thin metal wire in it. Looked like it was from a grill cleaning brush.

DO NOT buy the combo platter they fill the bottom with rice to make it look bigger it’s a huge ripoff. The beef from here is always chewing and tastes like fish just go to Chinese express it’s cheaper and they don’t rip you off

Don’t order the sesame shrimp they use the baby shrimp and have 90% of it filled with batter so it makes it look bigger very disgusting. This was all the leftover batter. Plus there was a bunch of little hair in my rice I just didn’t even eat it

It's the hood spot, LOL. Nahhh. This is my spot shrimp Egg Foo Young. The best so far in Uptown. Management has to remember everyone can't cook it, though. It takes a delicate hand to keep it fluffy. BTW the Ribs are ghetto fabulous. Don't be fooled by glass window.

I recommend the beef szcheuan. The beef is tender, and it comes with variety of vegetables (baby corn, onions, carrots, green peppers, broccoli, and snow pea pods,) and white rice. The teriyaki chicken skewers are very tender, full of flavor, and always come in a packet that keeps them steaming hot. The cream cheese wontons are crispy, the filling and the wonton wrapper balance each other out pretty well, and you get a sizable amount of sweet and sour to dip them in. The
only item I have tried that I do not care for is the hot and sour soup, I felt as though it didn’t have much flavor (although it does bring in the hot and spicy factor, which I do like.) The portions are always large, and I am usually able to eat left overs one or two days after ordering.

Wow! This chicken is terrible. This was my favorite place years ago, but coming back was a bad idea.

This restaurant is so good! I tried two different soups (chicken and rice & egg drop,) and they were hot and delicious. I’m pretty picky with soups, especially these two types in particular, but these were the best soups I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant in a long time. The chow mein noodle toppings that come with were a nice addition too. Wontons were great. General Tso chicken with fried rice was also great. The price for everything was beyond reasonable, especially the soup for how much you get, and the food was ready very quickly.
