Looked for great brunch places in Northeast Minneapolis and Chimborazo was recommended on multiple places (Reddit, google maps etc.) so decided to stop in.

The flavors were on point. From subtly savory to tangy and refreshing. Can’t wait to come back and try the cheesy potatoes with chorizo.

¡Tan buena comida!

We love this restaurant! Menu favorites are the llapingachos, muchin de yucca, and the veggie saltado. And the slushies! Seasonal outdoor seating is great and the servers are friendly and professional. Every experience here has been wonderful!

Excellent. I've driven by this restaurant many times over the years and finally made a point to stop in, and was impressed by the food quality, price, service, and atmosphere. The dinner was so great that we came back for brunch a week later. This is my new favorite spot and I highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful patio perfect for date night! Our server was incredible, friendly, helpful, attentive and had great suggestions. The food was amazing. Some of our party had a steak dish that I don't recall the name of but it looked so good and I was wishing I had that but I had scallops and shrimp in a coconut sauce that was fabulous. Our limeades were really good too. Our family has been there many times but it's the first time that my husband and I went and we will certainly be going again.

I got the 1/4 chicken and 10/10. Every dish that came out looked like it was delicious too.

The braised leg of lamb special was outstanding and a great deal. Loved their sauces also. We will be back to try other menu items.

The biggest turn off here is the potato fries used as a filler on the plates. At 20+ per plate, you'd think they'd give you a few llapingachos or even yuca fries. Potato fries are not even a Ecuadorian side dish. And it takes up more than a third of the dish. The chicken and steak in our Churrasco dish was very thin and dry. Being they dont serve yuca on the dishes, I ordered the yuca frita off the appetizer menu and the garlic citrus was very salty. The beans and rice were good but everything had was mainly salt and pepper. Didn't get any flavors and spices that screamed Ecuadorian. When seated and you take a look around, you already get the feel for what your in for. There is definitely something that is lacking.
