Derek was outstanding! My suit fits incredibly well and looks very sharp -- the color and style is off the charts. Derek also helped with advice on shirts, ties and shoes to pair well with the new suit. This is my first custom suit and it's well worth the money. A great experience from start to finish. A friend of mine also got his suit from Club Carraway this year and raves about his experience as well! Highly recommend.

Took my son to get a suit made for my wedding. Derek was so helpful and welcoming. My son is only 10 and he doesn’t always feel Comfortable socializing with new people but Derek went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. He made it a fun project for him. I wanted him to be able to pick out his own lining and buttons. Derek showed him EVERY option and spent so much time going over all of the details. We really appreciated the time and effort put into it. We just went in for his fitting to try it on. My goodness, the quality is out of this world and I love the special customization to his shirt and jacket. Not to mention I had both of my kids with me and both Derek and another gentleman took time to talk to them both and make them both feel important. Thank you so much Derek and team! We will 100 percent be back for more!

This private club offers a main floor lounge to relax with friends, a bespoke tailored men’s clothing experience by Derek Reed, a fully licensed barber shop AND probably the best cigar lounge in the Twin Cities!! They are taking new members so if this is your jam, you will love it!!!

I made an appointment and walked in with an ambitious idea for a custom suit to wear at my wedding and having been into suiting retailers i.e. Suitsupply, Indochino, etc. as well as other custom shops, I was met with a calm "we can" attitude and a determination to bring my vision to life.For every odd element of the suit construction, I was presented with options; silhouette, lapel cut/width, button count/aesthetic, lining, vents, waist details, suspender fittings, tapering, the works. The result, a truly bespoke, perfectly tailored suit design that meets my vision detail for detail.In my adult life, I have placed a focus on wardrobing when purchasing clothing and Club Carraway meets the mark of creating a fashionable pieces that both stand the test of time and usage occasion. These days, so much of our consumption is done in a transactional way, often online, and definitely in a hurry. We forget what it is like to work with a local business in person, to slow down and think about what you want, to consider lots of options and work through the process of creating something for yourself. Enter Club Carraway, nestled inside the Semple Mansion. I have been coming here for several months now for haircuts and for tailoring as well. John has been my barber for a while and he does a great job with the haircut. He takes his time, chats you up, is very meticulous about what he is doing. He never seems to be in a rush to get you out and really makes sure you are happy with your cut. Coincidentally, I also like to wear custom made clothes for work as nothing fits me off the rack. Since moving to Minneapolis, I have not found any good options. Derek, who runs the club, leads the custom clothes offering. I just had a pair of work trousers made. He helped me pick the fabrics, made some recommendations (but not pressuring), took some measurements, etc. Same attention to detail, taking time to get it right, etc. I came back a month later, and my pants were ready and 100% perfect. I highly recommend Club Carraway.
