I hyped myself up too much looking at photos before coming… the food WAS good, but not exceptionally great, especially for the price. The fish is fresh, it wasn’t bad at all. But the menu is small and was nothing special about it to be honest. I wanted some caviars and sea urchins and truffles like I saw in pictures but none of those were on the menu anymore. Chefs choice sashimi was just typical tuna, yellowtail, salmon and scallop - really nothing special. I didn’t really find special rolls I’d like either, we ordered beach house roll and again it was good, just not for $25.
Service was great though, friendly and courteous, we stayed past the reservation limit (2hrs) and she never kicked us out and very patiently waited for us to finish. Atmosphere is also great, small space but chill, dark with awesome art. Drinks were also on point.
When the menu updates I would try again.

Excellent date night spot! The food was incredible, drinks were well conceptualized, and service was great! Sake Don was delicious and the perfect sized portion. Top notch atmosphere on a Saturday night!

Seriously the best bar experience! Great drinks of course! Great mixology theater! Along with a deep dive into the history of all things related to the art and science of craft cocktails. The only complaint I have is, while I was being dazzled by the bartender he tricked me into having three drinks when I was only planning to have one.

Just sat at the bar for cocktails and apps. Drinks were great and creative, started ordering some off menu classics that were all made perfectly, paper plane, carajillo, etc. Ended up getting deep into malort stories and somehow ended up having a good malort cocktail 🤣

Try this restaurant. Staff was a little harried (Saturday night), loud music, tables are tight. BUT excellent dishes. Only 4 stars because their sushi takes some risks with flavors (a good thing), but roll we had really missed (so much citrus that it was bitter). Many strong dishes, cool place where you should eat.

My friends entrees arrived timely; mine was to be right up. My friends finished their entrees. We checked in with the server three times, she never checked in with us. Finally we just asked for the check and I went somewhere else to eat. If she forgot to put my entree in, I just wish she would have said so. No reasonable explanation was given for why my food never arrived. Very disappointed.
Sushi restaurant that was completely out of tuna at 5:00 pm. Many rolls unavailable as a result.

We went late night just for drinks. It’s relatively dark and has loud music. The drinks were good, but pricey. Not a bad experience, but not somewhere I’ll frequent.

We recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary here and had the most amazing time. The cocktails were amazing paired with the best shrimp tempura I have ever had. The chef brought out raw salmon samples for us to try when he heard we were celebrating. Our rolls were delicious and we ordered yellow tail crudo that was literally THE best! Highly recommend!
