The main Caribou serving the East Bank of the UMN campus. It's a fine place to study with some nice seating and a fireplace, however the seating layout isn't the best and feels quite cramped. As it is the closest coffee shop to the Superblock, there are lots of freshman studying.

This is a really easy Caribou to grab coffee while you're going someplace on the light rail. It's nice to be able to order while you're on the train jump off grab your coffee stop at Walgreens or a bank if you need to and then get back on the train again. The staff is on their game here and I love the way they make my coffee..Vegetarian options: There are dairy alternatives and many items without meat.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly beverages and pastries. They have milkshake type drinks and smoothie type drinks they have many things without caffeine.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and there is double doors there is plenty of room to get through a doorway.

I came in on a Wednesday morning. It wasn't busy, so service was quite quick. The woman who took my order was polite. I initially wanted a latte, however, as I was ordering, I heard the woman working the espresso bar steaming milk with extremely improper technique; she was making the milk "scream," which not only leads to inconsistent milk, but also hurts the espresso machine. I quickly changed my order to an iced coffee. As I was waiting for my coffee, I observed the barista, and was further disappointed when I saw that she wasn't purging and cleaning the steam wand in between drinks. As this establishment uses nut milks, this makes me quite worried about allergen contamination. I would never order a hot coffee from this location.

Don't Order Nitro Cold brew Here Half of their cup is foam and then they complain condescendingly how their is foam in nitro cold brews instead of addressing that nearly half the cup is foam. I told them even baristas have told me this is too much foam (when I had one before here and showed them). I also showed them a marketing picture of their own website of the nitro cold brew. They said oh that is just not reality. They just don't know how to properly serve a nitro cold brew and don't want to learn.
Despite ordering an espresso, I was disappointed with the slow service which prevented me from receiving my two shots. However, the location remains ideal for both students and employees seeking a place to unwind.

The Iced Pumpkin Latte tasted like a literal pumpkin pie mixed with coffee - they DEFINITELY use real pumpkin as they claim. Caribou Coffee in general is just a great business and this location is a good one to go to as my Iced Pumpkin Latte was amazing and it only took them a few minutes to make it. Also the location is nice in general and is very clean. 10/10 would recommend!
