Food, drinks, atmosphere of a haunted house, what more could you want? The menu had a good spread of food and apps, we got the cheese plate and although the cheese was good, the crackers were honestly so good we asked for another serving. They make any cocktails you want, but their Lumbersexual was a good citrusy take on the Cosmo, and definitely worth a try.A decent amount of seating for the space, and the atmosphere is super dark and moody and really gives a spooky, haunted, vampire's basement vibe.Definitely worth a visit!Oh and bathrooms were clean. ?
Impossible to find handicapped parking and no valet. This is not an HC accessible restaurant. A long flight of stairs to get to the seating area. Small dishes with average food. Unimpressed.Seating is open and awkward for more than 3 people. I do not recommend it for celebrations. Service takes way longer than it should. Gelato was 3 bites per scoop. Marginal food.
My friend and I went early on Saturday evening. The staff were all so welcoming. We each tried 2 different drinks. All were great but the standout of the day was the old fashion. We also shared the charcuterie board which we found delightful even though the giardiniera was too spicy-hot for my friend.
This was an unexpected find on a Monday night in Minneapolis! Loved the lowlight ambience and all the candles everywhere!Menu was sufficient enough for light bites. I thoroughly enjoyed the Double Dirty burger, one of the best in the city. My friend loved her housemade Pop Tart (reminiscent of a toaster strudel, but with a rotation of flavors). As a nondrinker, I also like a place that puts a strong focus on quality nonalcoholic drinks. Try the Even Bitter -- exquisite!WILL BE BACK!!
Hey Loves while I'm MN I was able to go to a pretty cool nightclub called Constantine @constantinempls located in downtownMinneapolis. If your looking for a Goth, Game of Thrones, Vamp vibe...this is your place. They are located on the basement floor of the Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis. They have a live DJ playing and amazing knowledgeable mixologist serving up some delicious crafted drinks. But wait loves the Constantine offers a $5 dollar burger The Constantine Burger and Oh My Oh My...it's juicy, well seasoned, and dripping with Rich Melted Cheese…..Damn it's that good yall. Not only is this place offering happy hour. But they have events too. Such as drink making. Go check this place out loves. You won't want to miss it.
We enjoyed the "dark" cocktail bar in the basement of Hotel Ivy. Our server was great. We enjoyed our drinks. Loved the atmosphere.
I have dream about their burgers here, seriously. Their Constantine Burger has me in a choke hold. It almost tastes like a reallllly fancy, delicious, In-N-Out burger, but a million time better. It's a smash patty type situation, so not too much burger which is huge to me. I'm over those half pound burgers and quarter-pounders they advertise, sometimes I just want a light burger that's well balanced with toppings and other flavors than straight beef and this is perfect for that.On top of that, their mocktails are AMAZING. The servers are always helpful, asking important questions like what kind of flavors I like and preferences for fruity or tart or more refreshing, it's nice to not be offered just soda and grenadine and sent on my way. They're very attentive. As for alcoholic drinks, I have tried a few and they are also delicious. I love the glassware their served in and it's always a fun experience to try new cocktails there because they're all delicious. I haven't always been a big whiskey/dark liquor girl, which seems to be what they specialize in, but I think that all changed when I tried a drink from here. They are truly more than bartenders and more like artists.Parkings not great, but that goes for most places downtown and I usually opt to walk here. The ambiance is unbeatable and it's worth it to pay for parking or valet here rather than get free parking elsewhere.
Came to Minneapolis today, there is no happy hour so not really sure how to rank this, but every where you look says Happy Hour here so trying to help out future customers. Very very limited cocktail list. The owner has now replied - Up a star for credible management! I was just told "no" when I asked, I was not corrected with proper times. I may check it out again later in the week.Thank you for the reply!
Place definitely looks straight out of a modern Vampire ?♂️ movie ?.Place is actually affordable if you take in consideration the location and the ambiance of the place super trendy and elegantThe service could use a little help but prices not bad$5 burgers ? ? In a place like this I was mind blown lol the drinks ? are actually almost all the same price (the cocktails that is ) usually around 12-14$Place closes late around midnight comparing to most bars in Minneapolis area which close around 9 pmI do highly recommend this place as and after party spot or just for a chill nightShould be on your list to visitOh the place located inside the IVY residences in the basement
One of my favorite places if not the one for me in Minneapolis when talking about a night out. Relaxed, chill out lounge, love the music, the food, and the signature drinks are the best. Go, unwind, and have the best time in the company of your choice.

Great place for after dinner/show drinks on date night! The atmosphere is a perfect blend of creating private intimate spaces without feeling isolated. The noise level is perfect for close conversation making easy to hear the people in your party and the wait staff when present, with music providing a buffer to keep neighboring conversations from bleeding into each other. The cocktails were great and our waiter was engaging, offering us helpful information and even treating us to a few dance moves.
Good food, drinks, and atmosphere. Went on a Monday for happy hour and it was pretty quiet. We really enjoyed the tots and cheese, the tuna melt sandwich, and the old fashioneds. Service was great up until about 7pm, then our waiter seemed to disappear and we didn't get water refills, so I'd give it about 4.5 stars.
I went here with my partner for drinks after eating a meal elsewhere. The cocktail selection was great and there were also beer and cider options available to enjoy. The environment was unique with a dark candlelit ambiance.
It’s so nice inside. It’s actually one of the nicer prohibition bars in the twin cities. The drinks are delicious! Call ahead for a party larger than 6. And after you do that, the day of, make sure you call again to confirm. They put my party of 8 in a small space. We made the most out of it. If you don’t like their food menu, they serve Monello - which is delicious! FYI - if you’re going to bring a cake, there is a $4 per slice up charge.
Went for happy hour and it was great! We didn't make a reservation but luckily there was a no-show. We got the happy hour burger, tots, and several of the drinks and all were delicious. We even got a couple full priced drinks that were incredible - the treasure trail and the chill pill. Highly recommend! Only qualm was the poptart. It was "okay" but nothing special. We will definitely be coming back!
