every dish we tried was great. I had a Spanish margarita and it was so good I had to have two.

I am so glad I have friends who share places like this with me. We stopped in to share a few plates of Tapas and a bottle of wine. We sat at the bar and the service was great. She helped us pick up a bottle of red wine to share which was fantastic, and continued to check in and just chat with us a little. I really enjoy the service. The wine we decided on was a bottle of Chateau Le Calvaire which was a 2016 Bordeaux Superieur. This was rich in tannins with nice a nice blackberry taste and dry. We all really enjoyed this wine pick with our meal. The plates we shared were Brusselas, Tinta Negra, vieas, and pulpo. I was obsessed with the Brusselas and the Tinta Negra but, over all everything was just so fantastic. Even at a point where I felt like we ate enough they convinced us into sharing dessert. We got the Caramel Spanish Flan and Crème Brulee Bread Pudding which again were just fantastic. I am so looking forward to returning!

Absolutely fantastic! Small space but turnover is quick. Each plate was well thought out and the flavors were outstanding. Would absolutely go back!!

Very busy on a Friday night but they turned tables fairly quickly.

A really fun and romantic evening. Definitely save room for the flan.

If you enjoy Ena, Rincon or Don Raul this restaurant is right up your alley. It's some of the best tapas I've had outside of Spain. I'd say the larger plates were the best dishes. The paella and sea bass were to die for. If you're looking for great Spanish food or a few tapas and drinks this is the place for you.

Tasty tapas! We stopped in for an early dinner on a Thursday night and had no problem getting a table in this small albeit cozy bistro. There’s plenty of good wine here, but we opted for a specialty cocktail! Small plates are shareable. The 2 of us shared 3 plates and were very satisfied. It’s a neighborhood joint for us, so we just walked.

Central Avenue is chockablock full of restaurants, most serving inexpensive fair, some excellent, some awful. Costa Blanca stands alone, the upscale neighbor serving solidly good to excellent tapas and consistently excellent cocktails. Bartender Tom favors the dry side with his creations and can whip up a fantastic impromptu digestif. Food highlights: The vegetales dish was surprisingly light, with the batter almost tempura like and balanced by the surprising acidity of the grilled artichokes. The datiles delivered, with an excellent balance of fat and savory to offset the sweetness of the date. The paella was a proper paella. One note on the calamari, eat the greens with it! The polenta crust meant less crunch and more chew, but paired with the greens was lovely. Bites without were lackluster.
