My friends and I went for lunch and my one friend ended up getting SO sick. He had the crab boil with blue crab and was vomiting within a couple hours!! For how much we spent, I was mortified that this was our experience.

Food was fantastic; great quality, temperature, flavor. I had the snow crab special, mild, with buttery garlic seasoning, and my husband had the king crab boil, mild, with the Cajun seasoning. Normally I don’t like to order snow crab since so many places have pathetic little legs, but Crafty Crab has excellent snow crab. Large, luscious meat, and even the knuckle meat was good enough quality to enjoy. King crab was exactly as king crab should be: plump, easy to crack out of the shell, and perfectly flavorful. My husband ended up ordering another pound of the king crab, and honestly, I 100% would have done the same had we been here for dinner instead of lunch. We will definitely be back!

Flavor was incredible and all the crawfish were of good size (no tiny pathetic ones). Service was fast and polite.
They don’t put any seasoning(sauce) in the bag plus the cashier was rude I told him I was paying with cash and he rolled his eyes probably because it was close to closing but I called before and asked if they were still taking orders…

Crafty Crab is a decent spot for a seafood boil, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The concept is great customizable boils with different seasoning options but the flavor was lacking. I expected bold, spicy Cajun seasoning, but the spice level was very mild, even when ordered “hot.”
The seafood was cooked well, but the presentation wasn’t appealing. Everything comes in a bag, which is normal for this style, but the overall look was a little unappetizing and messy without much visual appeal.
On the positive side, portions were fair for the price, and the service was friendly. The nautical décor is fun and casual, making it a decent spot for a laid-back meal.
If you’re okay with mild seasoning and don’t mind a basic presentation, Crafty Crab will satisfy your craving but if you want strong spice and an eye-catching dish, it might leave you wanting more.
