I'm not sure if it was a fluke or what. But the food I had at my most recent visit was significantly more bland than previous visits. The service was still good. And the atmosphere is still all right.
This has been my go-to Indian restaurant for years. It's very burnt to stop the before a show at the downtown theaters. Great food, and if you are convincing enough to them that you're not a Minnesotan, they can make their curry at a decent heat level! I love the korma and tika masala.
I was visiting Minneapolis for work and this was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. It’s authentic. It tastes just like what my friend’s mom used to make us when we were kids. Loved the Poori, the Bharta, and the sweet dessert milk balls. SO GOOD. This place deserves better star reviews honestly. I get it, everywhere has trendy vibes now and this place is more like no frills straightforward, but the food is really freaking good.
