This place is fun, but inconsistent. Tonight was probably the least spectacular time I've been. Maybe don't go on a Sunday night? They were out of many items and what they had took too long. (Pastas were getting eaten and getting cold by the time the protein mains came out). Our server was good, but no one was super attentive. Tonight, not worth the price. In fact, maybe generally overpriced.

I took my girlfriend out to Dario for Valentines dinner this year, her favorite food is pasta and this restaurant did not disappoint! Overall we had an awesome time, loved the food & service!
Dario is a fun eatery tucked away by ramp C in the downtown Minneapolis. The restaurant has a shared entry with a large business complex but it is right in front. We work pink/red and fit right in with the aesthetic (unknown to us)!
We did not drink alcohol but had the Fennel & Apple salad as an app, which was amazing! We tried 2 entrees and I cannot recommend the Doppio enough, best ravioli I've eaten. We also had the cake and ice cream dessert. Food was amazing and service was excellent!

Great pasta. We ordered drinks and an appetizer before the main dish. Appetizer was delicious and came out quickly but our drinks took a bit to come out. It would have been nice if things were timed better. Pasta dishes were amazing but small portions. We left hungry and went to another restaurant after.

Food, service, vibes — all great! My only qualm is it’s a bit expensive and the portions can be small. But they make everything in house so that is to be expected. Highly recommend checking it out for a special occasion! I’ve been several times and they rotate menus often, it’s always great.

Our server, Lu, a giant of a man, recommended the exactly perfect experience …one each from the left side of the menu, one each from the right side of the menu and then share. It started with the most mind blowing scallop dish I’ve ever eaten. Lu said “use a spoon” and then eat it in one bite….boy was he right!! It was OMG delicious with this insane foigras fume and some textural elements that put it over the top. That was followed by the sea bass, the duck, the beets all of which were incredibly delicious. The restaurant is also really beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!!

Dario is pricey but food was awesome. I fell in love with their short rib pasta. My husband and I went there for a date night and it was a nice evening out.
We had the potatoes, spizzulus, spicy rigatoni , and affogato. The food was good but not sure overall that it matched the price. The affogato was the best thing I ate tonight and will be thinking about it for a while LOL. Atmosphere was amazing! Service was great! I do think this is a spot that everyone should experience at least once.
