Beautiful restaurant with a unique style. Wonderful food served with creative presentation.

The restaurant is very beautiful. The space is fairly large and there are different coves for seating. There's also a decent size bar area. The restaurant is also very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was great and explained everything to us. He was also very knowledgeable about the food choices. I would say the food was just okay. Nothing really to rave about. I don't think there was a single thing we had that I could say was phenomenal. The portion sizes are small, but it's definitely good for a tapas style meal if you get enough. I would give this place a four out of five stars more so because of the great service.

Waiter was knowledgeable and fun. Restaurant was kind of tight and loud but has nice decor and ambiance, however, I was expecting the food to be alot better than it was. The menu was very limited.

I'm incredibly disappointed in Dario. The food doesn't live up to the expectations that was promoted by the restaurant. Most disappointing however was the incredibly LOUD music... nothing calm and soothing. Who wants head banging music when eating dinner.

What a shame! The food is delicious, BUT the blaring music was awful, violent, but "Chef" chooses it. What a shame! The food is delicious , BUT they will give you no bread, no bread at all, to soak up the gorgeous sauces. Instead those sauces go to waste. What a shame.

I was so excited to go to Dario with three of my friends and really get to taste what everyone was raving about! This place is the perfect summer vibe, light and breezy with fun accents and lots of windows. However, it's not very big and get's very loud as it fills up - just something to be aware of. Service was wonderful even with a full house, our server was extremely helpful with choosing what to drink too! If you like peach, definitely go with the Kelly Kapowski - I don't like rose flavor but you can't really taste it in here. My biggest downside here is cost to portion. For over $20 a plate of pasta (meat or without) the portions are really small. We shared 3 pastas and a chicken across four of us, plus 2 appetizers/veggies, 2 desserts and drinks and we all left hungry with a bill of $70+. I would recommend coming here with only 1-2 other people, and not going the sharing route. On a better note, all of the food here was absolutely delicious! Just be aware that portions are more suited for 1-2 people. Also, mention it's a birthday and everyone will get a small glass of sparkling wine! CUCUMBERS: Wouldn't recommend ordering these. They're tasty, but super basic and small for $17. RED ENDIVE: This salad was phenomenal - more like a chicken/egg salad consistency with bright and sweet flavors. This will not serve more than two people - and it's small portions for two people. SPICY RIGATONI ALLA VODKA: A superstar for me - it was actually pretty spicy! Super rich and flavorful. BUTTERNUT SQUASH SCARPINOCC: Phenomenal and perfect for fall. The brown butter really ties it together. Be aware it only comes with 4-6 pastas. RISOTTO AL TARTUFO: If you like truffles, this one's for you. It's got a strong truffle flavor while still staying creamy and rich. BRICK CHICKEN: I wanted to love this more than I did because people really raved about it - the chicken was truly the most perfectly cooked chicken, I just felt it was lacking a bit in flavor. CAKE & ICE CREAM: These were lava cakes with a scoop of ice cream on top, very tasty and rich!

Dario is one of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities. The food and service were world class and I loved the atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back next!

We had such an amazing experience! Starting with the oysters and Falanghina wine to the Affogato dessert! Everything in between was perfect! Hats off to Joe R and Stephen R. Can't wait to return!

Food was good, but this restaurant doesn’t know how to create an atmosphere. They were blaring death metal music - when asked to lower or change it, they refused. They also served all of our food at once versus coursing it out. It really ruined the experience, especially for how much they’re charging.

I will be dreaming of Dario's Doppio Ravioli for weeks to come!! My first dining experience at Dario was outstanding. Dario offers a refreshing atmosphere for handmade pasta & veggies (but don’t skip on the char siu pork belly). From start to finish the service was spot on & attentive, not to mention the stellar playlist going throughout the night. Looking forward to more visits! Cheers to the Dario team!

Spectacular dining experience atop the already great food scene in MPLS highlighted by the personable service and diverse flavors. Can talk extensively about each dish but the Spaghetti alla Chitarra Limone takes the cake. It has heat, but did not overpower the crab. Every plate is so well balanced and I fully enjoyed getting a little taste of everything. The vibe is bright and energetic which complements the food well. Just like the frozen lime on the Oysters Dario or the dill pickle chips atop the marinated beets, unexpectedly pairs perfectly. Will definitely comeback and do a more thorough exploration of the cocktail menu (mostly wine was had last night)! Joe and Stephen created a special spot!

My favorite Dario dishes were likely early on because I was starving, but quickly filled up because the food never stopped!Every raw salad was amazing…favorite likely was the Raw Veg Salad. The Doppio Ravioli was a first course too and SO flavorful! Definitely a dish to share. The oysters were a great starter, and I’m not even an oyster person. For proteins the skate and beef filet were both great to have a taste. Bottom line, I love the whole family style sharing of such diverse courses. Every bite was remarkable! Dario is definitely is our family-favorite restaurant! Great for the live it up meal, and I’m looking forward to going back and simply experiencing a regular meal too. It was such a great celebration that we will never forget!

Hands down, one of the best dinner experiences of my life. The food was delicious, the drinks plentiful, and the service was incredible. I loved the design of the restaurant and appreciated Chef Rolle/Collins/Liz stopping by our table and taking us through all the options. This restaurant is the best in the Twin Cities.

Dario felt like being transported to New York City while still in Minneapolis. The vibe in this restaurant is extremely cool and trendy. It is unique with the bright pink color throughout the restaurant. The restaurant offers valet parking, which is a major plus because of the north loop location with extremely sparse street parking. The spot can be a little bit difficult to find as it is not directly on Washington Avenue, although the address indicates that it is.The food makes the location well worth the hunt. The food is amazing the menu design is that you order numerous items and try with others in your group. The food comes in smaller portions, which makes this quite easy to do and has a variety of hot and cold, and also meat types.
