Got a couple of pies for Thanksgiving. Pecan pie was inedible and just strange looking, not sure what happened there. French silk literally looked like they used sand for the crust. Not sure how this place has so many stars.

The best experience! Dave makes everything fresh and in front of you - he let me taste pies and chatted with me about the process. Pies come in a glass container to make sure they are perfectly golden! Truly such a sweet guy/owner who you can tell goes above and beyond for everyone and all he does. Called ahead for a Blue Ribbon Strusel Apple Pie, and when I got there, it is was freshly made and cooling on the rack. Dave made sure I knew to keep the lid off the box while it was still cooling. Truly cares about his pies and on top of everything, was one of the best Apple pies I've had! I would definitely recommend!!!

We walked in and ordered 2 pies: cherry and Key Lime. Dave made up a fresh batch of whipped cream from scratch. He entertained us with stories of the neighborhood and the pie business while he worked. We had strangers call out “you got dave’s pies!” excitedly as we walked our white boxed pies home
Both pies were excellent, real crowd pleaser. Highly recommend. 10/10 will buy more pies.

Dave tells good stories, has great tasting pies, allows you to use his restroom at your own risk, there's no tissue and no paper towel to dry your hands. I will be back. His pies are better than any Perkins, Bakers Square, or Walmart pies I've had. Don't mind the prices either because after you've learned why, you'll keep coming back.
Accidentally wandered up when my dog smelled something that she liked. We've had great conversations a few times. Today I got a turkey melt, and a tripleberry pie slice. PHENOMENAL!!! Every experience we've had together has been pleasant. The food, amazing. The cranberry bread delicious and the real slices of fruit in the pie to die for.

My family asks us to bring DTPG banana cream for literally every holiday. It is hands down some of the best pie in Minnesota if not among the best in the country. Must try pies (we live a few blocks away so grab a slice to try when we can and get whole pies for holidays): banana cream, French silk, key lime, chocolate brownie.
