Out of everything, bar too small for the size of the restaurant to keep up.

At first glance, this place looked really promising. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is great for grabbing a beer and hanging out. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. We kept ordering, hoping each dish would improve, but after the third appetizer, we decided to call it a night. A solid spot for drinks, but not somewhere I’d go for the food.

Kitchen open late with good food. Only complaint is how long it took, but there was only a single server.

This place was awesome to say the least!
The food was incredible - burger was juicy, tender, and fresh!
The brussel sprouts were absolutely perfect!
The service - couldn't have been better, bar staff was attentive considering there was an unbelievable Bills comeback game, and Elijah was the best!

Highly recommended if you're looking for a chill and cool vibe

I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 15+ years, and though I’m retired from the game, old habits die hard—I still notice the details. I walked into The Devil’s Advocate around 11:30 and was greeted by the bartender, Alex. From the jump, he set the tone: a warm welcome, asked what I was drinking, then offered a recommendation that hit the mark.

What stood out wasn’t just the drink, though—it was his awareness. Every guest at the bar had a full glass before he stepped away, and when he did leave, it was only to run food to tables. Smooth, efficient, and seamless. Later, when I stepped outside to hit my vape, he didn’t send a server or let my food sit—he personally brought me my to-go order. That’s next-level attentiveness.

The small detail that sealed it? I’d handed him my credit card before stepping outside, and he joked, “Don’t worry, I run fast.” That kind of humor, trust, and guest connection is hospitality at its finest. Alex read the room, anticipated needs, and executed like a pro.

Top-drawer service. Ask for Alex...Tell him Israel sent you.

Came into town late and they serve until midnight! The staff was great and the food was wonderful. We had 2 kids with us and they were very accommodating to them as well. Great service and very friendly staff! Will for sure be recommending to others and be back next time we are In town!

I hadn't visited this place in quite some time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the enchanting atmosphere that enveloped the space. The soothing glow of the fireplace created a cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind. There was a versatile seating arrangement with both low and high-top tables, and the bar area was inviting, an ideal setting for conversation or simply relaxing.

To my surprise, the place was a lot quieter than I remembered from my previous visits, which made for an even more enjoyable experience. We were seated right away, and our server, Steve, immediately set the tone for our evening. He was attentive and friendly, expertly guiding us through the cocktail menu. We appreciated his effort to check back frequently to ensure we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. It was a nice touch that made us feel genuinely cared for.

I was slightly disappointed that some of the fun, interactive drinks I remembered were no longer on the menu, but I decided to explore the offerings regardless. I picked something intriguing, and oh my, it exceeded my expectations! The cocktail was vibrant and expertly crafted, perfectly complementing the lively spirit of the evening.

To kick off our night, we ordered their legendary truffle fries, a dish I had fond memories of. They did not disappoint! The fries were perfectly crispy and dressed in a rich, decadent truffle oil that was mouthwatering. The aroma wafted through the air, drawing in comments of delight from everyone at the table. Each bite was a heavenly blend of flavors that sparked nostalgia.

Next up was the pappardelle, and wow, it was a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate! The presentation was nothing short of stunning, with the pasta beautifully arranged and topped with vibrant ingredients. The portion size was generous, and it was an incredibly filling dish packed with rich, complex flavors that left us all raving. The handmade pasta was perfectly cooked, and each mouthful was a delightful combination of taste and texture.

As we settled in, savoring our food and drinks, we had a fabulous time. The warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food truly made this visit a memorable one, and we are eager to return sooner rather than later!

Delicious Brussels sprouts and beet bruschetta. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews, since we had a great experience with our food and cocktails. We were more concerned by the fact that The Devil’s Advocate needed more thorough and enticing descriptions of the food on their menu, and more visible exterior signage to draw diners in.
