food was pretty alright but the price was not. very overpriced. our waiter (some skinny asian guy) was even starting to clean up while we were still sitting there too! we haven't even stood up after we paid because we were wanting to catch up and talk. this was after we paid of course. mot to mention he was very rude. the first time we went, we had the same waiter and he tried to charge us the leftover food fee just because we ordered a lot, and he said we couldn't eat that much!! ridiculous. we haven't even gotten out food yet, but he was assuming things. but since he wanted to us pay more, he purposely made our food so much saltier so we could not finish the food. UNBELIEVABLE! we thought to give it another try, but this was the second time now. absolutely terrible service. The same guy asked for our personal information (i was out with my friends for my birthday). Very unprofessional.

Wouldn't suggest. Find someplace else. The service and the prices weren't worth my time or energy. I've been here twice now and think that the prices are high, service is awful, and food is decent at best. My last time was for a birthday party, and we chose sushi instead of Korean BBQ. I ordered a volcano roll. The roll that came out was smothered in mozzarella cheese and had been baked. After reviewing the menu again it was a baked California roll. When I clarified with the server he went and told another older service man (seemingly the sushi chef). This older man stormed over to our table with a menu and started yelling at me about how it was the right roll that I ordered and etc. He was rude unkind and I felt disrespected. Our main server came back and asked if he was mean to me, and when I said yes he apologized. It had already been established that they wouldn't be charging me for my sushi roll that I didn't re-order. I decided to get food elsewhere after all. The minimum was to not charge me for a roll I didn't eat. There was nothing more than that. It was a big party and could tell people were stressed, but there is NOTHING that would deserve being yelled at by the sushi chef when I point out that I was brought the wrong roll. Cleanliness was questionable as there was an ant crawling on my napkin when we arrived.

Everytime I’ve come to Dong Hae the staff are so kind and welcoming. Some may seem timid but they always will chat with you when they can! I drove four hours to come and it’s been amazing every single time. You can also buy kimchi from them, shoutout to my man Lee, he packed the container with love. Will be coming back until I can’t no more!!!! Love the service, staff, and everything about it.

My husband and I stopped in today around five and it wasn’t busy so we were seated quickly. This location was a little difficult for us to find but it is located on the second floor facing the paid parking lot.Our first experience here was really nice, Lee was a very personable waiter and was very helpful with the ins and outs of using the grill.I loved the Tteokbokki and all the sides that came along with the BBQ. I want to come back again and try the jjajangmyeon!

The service was a little questionable, as soon as we sat down they asked if we are ready to order before we even opened our menus, they also asked if we were ready to order four different times. It almost seemed like they didn’t want us there as we did have a bigger party to be fair. The food was very good though I’m not gonna lie. Something weird that I noticed was when we were leaving and they were cleaning our table up, they uttered under their breath “a whole rib???” as if they’re the ones who bought it.. I mean just keep it to yourself please. Other then the questionable service
