The flavor of the vodka was shockingly unpleasant

We came here because it was featured in the “Minneapolis Passport” it was great service and a nice spot with games to play and the black pepper drink was soo good!

I had been here with friends years ago when the cocktail bar was open. I remembered they had amazing drinks, so I stopped in to buy a bottle of their gin before I had to leave town. I ended up accidentally crashing a private gin-making party, but everyone was so so so kind! I met the owner and the distiller, and they were truly the nicest people ever. The cocktail lounge is no longer in operation, but you can get their liquor in local liquor stores. Highly highly recommend!!!

Support this great black-owned business! Can't wait for the new spot to open.

Drinks are pretty boring and the service was extremely slow and not very nice. Plus I had my car broken into the their parking lot. Won't be going back

Arrived around 4:45 on a Friday and immediately impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were a handful of kids, some babies, and mostly grown ups. I was admittedly nervous the establishment was going to be a bit pretentious but I was so wrong.Okay, the lines did take about 20 minutes but the bartenders were moving fast and I didn't take the length of the line to be due to their inefficiency-they were making craft cocktails and you can't rush the perfection of the drinks they made.We ordered Parkway to be delivered and enjoyed some pizza while enjoying our beverages. I really enjoyed my experience and look forward to returning!

I really like Du Nord and have been coming here since they opened. They have a warm and inviting environment with a lot of seating (tables, couches, etc.). The drinks are very good and reasonably priced. The bartenders are friendly, some more than others. My favorite drink is a toss up between the Wealthy Apple and the Apple Switchel. My husband likes the mules. I'd love to see hot drinks on the menu again. They have a small parking lot but plenty of street parking is available. I've seen food trucks in the past, but you can order from local restaurants or bring food in.We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday for a quick cocktail, and as we were leaving the place was getting packed. If you want a short line and guaranteed seating, I'd recommend arriving before 7:00.

Refreshing drinks with a local environment that was welcoming and inclusive. I visited Du Nord before the pandemic and I look forward to returning when they heal from recent damages. The owner's response to the recent unrest demonstrates sincere compassion and love for the Minneapolis community.

My car was broken into in the parking lot (which apparently happens pretty frequently.) Called several times to ask for access to their security footage and received no response. Showed up in person, asked to speak to a manager who said he would look into it and call me, then never called. Also their drinks aren’t that good.

The cocktails were very good and the staff was friendly however the line was extremely long — over 25 minutes of standing to get a drink. Table service would be much better.

The drinks are hit or miss and the last time I went was such miss that the two friends of mine and I left our unfinished drinks on the bar and walked out. One friend got a drink that was just honey, honey and honey. One got one with demerara that drowned out everything else. I got one that had lemencillo and ginger as main ingredients. There was so much ginger that it actually burned my tongue. I got it remade and while better it was still terrible. I havent left a drink unfinished in a decade but the intense ginger drowned out everything and even the second one was making my stomach hurt.Constructive criticism:I watched the two bartenders make several drinks and they didn't taste one before sending them out. Change that.

Kind of a weird spot, definitely feels like the bar was dropped in a former business and doesn't quite work. Very nice bar staff but the drinks were so-so at best.

Good cocktails. It was a bit noisy inside and it’s off the beaten path a little but it’s a cute neighborhood spot.
