I was not prepared for the fact that this “cafe” is in a public health hospital.The tables and chairs all looked incredibly uncomfortable like they don’t want people to sit in them (and hardly anyone was). The ladies restroom was closed, so I had to go all the way to the sixth floor for another restroom. Which wouldn’t be so bad but the elevators reeked really bad of smoke. People were also smoking right outside the front doors.I did not eat the food, but I rated both the food and service highly because it’s not the employee’s fault that this place smells gross, etc.

Nice people, terrible value - tiny veggie sandwich and chips 10.50. All wrap, no filling, about 1/6 the size of a chipotle burrito. Coffee drinks look goodIt's a walk up stand to get food and beverage, no one waits on you- suggested tip 20 or 25%

This place is great! Food is FRESH! The staff here are top notch. Super friendly, helpful, and make your food and drinks correctly. Jenny does a great job managing this place. Bob is awesome. Atmosphere is better than expected for being located in a downtown hospital. Only downside is it's a little spendy. But with the food being fresh, you gotta expect to pay a little bit more. Dunn Bros should take over for the hospital cafeteria because it's gone down hill. Definitely recommend

Located inside HCMC specialty clinic and across from the ER, it provides really good food but all the yumminess really provides a good respite from the "hospital".On that note the hospital staff cannot and will not ask for coffee even if you offer. So please get a couple caramel lattes (sugar free) to hand it to them. As you know they are providing amazing care to so many, day and day out.Just something to consider. Thanks.
