So Sad and a little Mad to see a favorite location go. Loved my breakfast there late March 2020 at the counter with gang. Love you folks. Sorry that bad public policy killed another great business without regard. You will be missed. ;-(
Always friendly, always yummy! Worth a visit for a meal with friends!
Sweet ladies who work there. food is good. veggie options are always nice
We make it here every once in a while, and it's always a great experience. Good, simple breakfast food with a pleasant, friendly staff.
Relaxed. Polite. Diverse. Display local artist's work on rotation.
My friends and I had great conversations with our waitstaff, they were fantastic! Our food was so delicious, and I was a proud member of the clean plate club.
If you want an old fashioned, no frills diner experience, without ggod coffee and great service... the book no further than the Egg and I...been going to it since the 80's and it hasn't changed a bit...thankfully
That breakfast place you see people eating at in the movies and tv shows this is kinda like that. Open early and close early so its specifically a breakfast place. you'd think this is a hotspot for geriatrics but the customers eating here were of all ages. Good food and good service. Just good luck with the parking it's a little confusing if you're new to the area!
The food at this restaurant was good and we really enjoyed having breakfast here.
Warm, friendly environment. Consistent and satisfying food. Good Netflix recommendations.

I like this place as it had the cozy dive bar atmosphere. Super friendly and doesn't try hard to impress you. Prices are fair and food is pretty good. Their pancakes are huge and I will be trying them next time
Service was friendly. Food was ok. Had the George Michael collection playing in my left ear from the dining area and South of the border in my right from the kitchen. Too much at 7am.
The environment is good
It is a small town feel in the middle of uptown next to lyn-lake area.
The eggs Bendict (with hollandaise sauce) was excellent. The bacon was good. The pancake was soft and tasty, though it was as big as a dinner plate and too much to finish. The scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked. The people watching was great, though, which sort of made up for the uneven quality of the food.
