Horchata came in a large cut, very flavorful. Pork and cheese Pupusa was very soft and well seasoned, came with a large thing of spicy picked veggies. The bean empanada was a bit dry, tastes good but I'm not sure on the texture. The fried plantains with cream was tasty, the cream being slightly sour was unexpected. The chicken tamale was okay but very mushy, also contains potato which was unexpected. You can get either chicken or beef tacos, personal opinion is that chicken...
The most delicious El Salvadorian food in town! The staff is so kind and so friendly give them a big tip! The food is so good I really love their chicken tacos. I come here all the time. I'm so glad they were able to rebuild after everything that happened on Lake street.
We're always looking for the best pupusas in Minneapolis, and the ones at El Guanaco III win! We arrived last night (Saturday) at 9:35, and they treated us kindly as if we were their first customers, even though we arrived almost at closing time. The pupusas were delicious, with the beans and cheese well distributed inside.
