The manager is very opinionated and draws conclusions without knowing all the facts. I will not give patronage to an establishment where management is unbiased and unfair.
An obvious money laundering front
I’m a low maintenance customer and I don’t go to places and expect excellent service, but I also don’t go back to places who give off the vibe that they’d rather not serve me/ my family/ outside races. Sucks, because the food was pretty good, but I can’t support unfriendly business practices. Too many places on Lake Street have this “stay out if you’re not one of us” vibe! Why wouldn’t you want more business/ better tips? The problem is not the customers, it’s the attitude you have towards them for no reason. I still gave 20%, but I’m usually a 40-50% tipper.
This place used to be a great hole in wall place. It was a bit spendy, but had amazing food you couldn't find anywhere else. Now it has new ownership, less than half the choices and not so good of flavors. It still has the poor staff experience it's always had and now food to match.
Concert venue for many bands, it’s ontop on the second floor. Underneath is the restaurant named the same. Came in from out of town to see a friend play here. Focusing on Spanish and Mexican music but very well managed.
I normally don’t post reviews but this was possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had. When my friend and I arrived, we were completely ignored by the waitress despite there only being a few customers. We seated ourselves and she came by 20 minutes later to take orders. Only 3 of the cocktails on the menu were available so we ordered the only ones we could. The margaritas came back incredibly salty— tasted like mixer and salt. The food came and was okay. The waitress never came back despite us being one of only 3 groups there. I couldn’t believe the poor service and quality especially with how expensive everything was. Avoid if you can.
Todo. Excelente más. Los sábados y domingo
Can't wait stop eating from here
Nice place but the owner is no good. Has to learn how to be humble and not treat patrons like garbage. Had security remove folks in front of her because she couldnt see the artist play. Customers are first and then owner.. sad. Wish her luck

Gone downhill. Went in with my mother at 5pm for dinner. Only waitress was on her phone the majority of the evening. Drink options were not available due to no bartender, salsa options were not available, very poor customer service. Had good experiences here in the past, but will not be returning.
perfect spot for big concert lots of famous artists has blessed that's stage
Hidden gem, best Pollo Tinga in town
Slow staff if you ever get service on a Friday or Saturday. I've been here twice and got the same slow service. Many people walked out. I'm not sure they even want customers here.
I'm sad at how bad this place has gotten. Service was extremely understaffed. None of the beer taps were functional. They only had 3 tequilas on hand. Food quality was low, and the rice and beans were room temperature. We got the molcajete and there was a high ratio of gristle to meat.
