I live right by Eli's and for some reason haven't ever been there before. Food was excellent and the service was better than excellent, might be the best and most thoughtful server I can remember.
Vegetarian options: I specifically came for the fresh roasted corn on the cob w/butter or cheesy dip & grated cheese to sprinkle! Excellent! No other restaurant offers a full ear with leaves left to hold in your hands. (typically if other have fresh corn it is a coblet/half cut of an ear of boiled corn. I had the fish/walleye sandwich/very good. Hubby had a hamburger. I had great lime pie dessert on 1st trip!
