Just had $14 beef liver & onions w/ mashed potatoes & gravy, broccoli, & carrots. Best value post-pandemic sit-down meal I've had in Minneapolis. Nutritious, delicious, & filling. Also a $5 Edmund Fitzgerald porter. Professional server got 10 of us satisfied. Hell yeah š

A classic bowling alley with hearty food. You can't go wrong if you're looking for a fun night with friends or family.
This place is top tier! I went in with a group of friends on Saturday. Despite it being super busy, the bartenders and wait staff were so accommodating! The atmosphere is friendly and the food is great (options for vegetarians and vegans too)! I ordered a medium steak and it came out perfect! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back! Highly recommend!

Elsie's is a neighborhood treasure! The entire staff are incredible, hardworking and dedicated - across the board, everyone who works there does their absolute best to provide a memorable experience for everyone who comes in. The food is great - especially the pasta - the lanes are always clean, well maintained and well worth the wait time. The bowling leagues are friendly and competitive. So right now Iām sitting inside of Elsieās. Iāve been coming here for over 30 years & I can say that all of my experiences have been wonderful until this evening. We get into Elsieās we are sitting @ the bar & this female bartender ok a good 15 minutes to approach us & she looks at us & says would you like menus. & Mike responded to her & said yes & she kept staring @ me & I said he already replied to you. Then she yells āIām not going to fight with you or deal with this todayā. Then proceeds to storm off. She returns with the manager & he was very rude, hard already made up his mind that I was the problem. He takes our order. I think she was expecting the manager to kick us out lol because she was slamming ever glass she put up on the counter. Wow!! Mikeās meal was perfect my steak was well done , but I requested medium. Her boyfriend was working & he was just as rude. I tried to approach her & she was so unprofessional A waitress said Iām just watching the crazy. Why would she say this to us? This must happen with this bartender ALL the TIME!!!! What employers put up with Wow what an experience!!!
