Elsie's was an alternative venue for our fishing club. The meeting room was great with plenty of room and a very large screen for presentations. That aspect earns a 5-star rating for our particular group. The menu got favorable comments from our club members. As is my practice, I ordered the Fish and Chips as my standard measure of a kitchen (whenever it is offered). They had the mandatory malt vinegar (a deal maker/breaker for me). Their version was heavy on the fish (a big plus) and the batter was light and stuck well to the fish. However, the fish lacked flavor (considering that it was the prominent ingredient) and could have used a little seasoning (either a rub or brining) prior to coating with the batter. One of the better versions of the dish I've tried in the Twin Cities but the just OK fish was enough to knock it down one star.

The staff was great, but I wouldn't advise bringing a little there.

Friendly service, walleye was C+ to B-. Good place to bowl, eat, and drink. I was hoping pool and/or darts would also be available. Large parking lot.

I have frequented Elsie's for many years, though I haven't visited in a while. Surprisingly, I had never tried their soup until yesterday when I opted for their vegetable beef soup. It exceeded my expectations – visually appealing, packed with various ingredients, and utterly delicious! I’ll be back again soon for more!

I have to post this while it's fresh. I come here time to time for a field trip. Today was the first time I actually stopped in for breakfast as a bus driver, we don't always get a chance to eat breakfast. The special today was The Omelette and let me tell you amazing. It was down to the service down to the exit. Great experience Will be back

Super cute bowling alley! Menu is massive and the food is all so good. Great vegetarian options as well. Delicious fried pickes and grilled cheese.

Best place in Northeast to get a steak and go bowling and sing karaoke and drink alcohol and see cops.
This is a great place to gather in NE. It's been our go-to for years. Great bowling, service, and delicious eats!

Recently came for my wife's work party. The staff was all very kind and accommodating. We had a great time bowling, overall the food was pretty good though not necessarily worthy of writing home about. Nice size parking lot, though was full so we took advantage of the on street parking out front. Weekends are very busy here. Would have to recommend stopping by here.

The food is okay, but the service is terrible. When our waitress asked for our drink orders we asked to see a menu and she acted like we were crazy. When we finally got a drink menu, they were very dirty. The experience was similar for appetizers, entrees, dessert - every time we wanted to order our next course, it was an inconvenience. Appetizers were delicious, but the mains were unimpressive. We tried to order dessert for a group on a Thursday early in the evening and they had about 6 portions of all their dessert options, and the rest of us had the option for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. No complaints about the bowling.
