Important note, fries come with the chicken sandwiches. Unfortunately I burned up a side dish order on fries instead of trying some of their Mac and cheese. What I loved: the chicken sandwich is generously portioned and can easily be split into a second meal or a shared meal. Fries had good seasoning and the slaw wasn't too creamy or too vinegary. What I didn't like, the chicken itself lacked crunch and the bun was far too buttery/greasy. Halfway through, my sandwich fell apart. Overall, 3.8 stars. It hits the spot if you are in need of comfort food, but doesn't blow your socks off.

I ate the chicken breast sticks, which were tough and bland. The fries were greasy and unsalted, but edible. The potato salad and cauliflower balls were inedible. Sadly, the majority of the order ended up in the garbage.

It was just ok, disappointing and lacking the seasoning and kick we were hoping for. Service was amazing and the food was ready quickly, but the fries were super soggy and greasy. The chicken was ok, mac n cheese was our biggest disappointment. They were out of ingredients for milkshakes. ‍ If I was craving Chick-fil-A I would grab a sandwich.... It would fill the craving. I had high hopes and was really let down.

This is a great place to visit if you are already at the U of M. Otherwise, good luck with parking. The chicken tenders taste outstanding! I had Tennessee style with medium Tennessee BBQ sauce. It came with Texas toast and fries for under $10. If I'm in the neighborhood, I would go back.

It's okay. Definitely not above raising canes but it's okay. The burger was also okay. Just felt like it was nothing special. Their signature sauce wasn't good. The meal is $10 and not worth it. My expectations was a lot higher.

Original Fly Meal. Sandwich was good but crazy salty. Fries were fine, pickles generic. They forgot the Cole slaw which I unfortunately didn't realize until I was back at the office. Has potential if they cut back on the salt and pay more attention to detail. Will give it another try. Tough competition with Raising Cane's across the street.

I was walking around on campus and I spotted this place. The first time I ate here I wasn't quite satisfied with my meal so the head chef Essi offered to remake my meal the way I wanted it free of charge and gave me a 20 dollar gift card. I was shocked at how great the customer service was and how welcome I felt at this place. The chicken tastes very crispy yet juicy on the inside. The dusting is not just heat you can also taste the flavor of the Nashville spice. The sause is more subtle than Cains or chick fila's but more complicated. I can taste the fat better and the spices are more pronounced I'm also not overwhelmed by a sharp vinegar taste. Overall this is a big upgrade from fast food chicken, not just taste-wise but also as a dining experience.

Had the original chicken sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had.. They also have 3 flavors of koolaid! And the customer service was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. Great experience

Really love their chicken tenders and choice of sauces. They actually thoroughly cook their chicken and the breading is really good. Favorite chicken place on campus.

So good and cute. The people there were so nice and helpful. Highly recommend! The Mac and cheese was a little bland but I ate the chicken on it and it kicked it up.

As a connoisseur of chicken sandwiches, I had to check this place out. I got the Original Fly Chix sandwich and I was not disappointed. It was definitely in my top 2 or 3 favorite chicken sandwiches of all times. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and super moist on the inside. Sauce/pickle combo was on point, bun was actually spectacular and the owner was a super nice guy. All in all, a wonderful place to stop for a quick bite right down by the University of MN. Add to that the price (full meal with coleslaw and drink was $10) and you've got a winner!
