Francis Burger Joint

I was really impressed with the variety and quantity of their plant based offerings. I really enjoyed their jalapeno version of a juicy Lucy. The jalapeno flavor was pronounced without being too hot. Service was great and the interior was pleasant. I will be back!

Visited with some non-vegan family and they were impressed with the burgers and chicken.

This restaurant is the place to beat. The burgers are the platinum standard by which every other burger (vegan or not) can be judged: juicy, flavorful, slight crunchy, beautiful brioche bun, and filling. Their rootbeer is also amazing, the vibes of the restaurant are phenomenal, and well-advertised community events show the owners care about their city. The bathrooms are clean and wait staff are attentive to gluten allergies. Every time I've been here, the place has been packed, for good reason! A must-visit anytime I'm in the Twin Cities. So many places have vegan burgers but this one was truly excellent. So fun to get a vegan juicy Lucy. Plus the place is super cute and the vegan cream is great.

Tried the MN spicy chicken and it's was delicious!

Got the juicy Lucy because it’s a special to the area. It was really good. Well seasoned. I also got the spicy chicken sandwich, which was also stellar. Be warned. The chicken was very realistic, only downsides was it was Midwest spicy IMO, but not everything need to burn your tongue off.

The burgers and fries are delicious. I think meat-eaters would even like them! Also, chocolate shake was pretty good.

The Francis burger and cocktails were good. Fries were extra crispy and delicious. Will come back to try the boozy smoothies. Nice that this place was tip-free and service was quick and excellent (you order through a QR code). Bathroom had an unexpected BDSM vibe tho.

Great vegan food that’s fun and innovative. I appreciate that there are locally sourced items scattered throughout the menu. I can’t help but feel like some of the menu items and especially the add-ons are more expensive than they need to be, but perhaps it’s more expensive to purchase vegan alternatives than I’d expect. Overall eating here is a nice but expensive treat.
