Food and service were fantastic!
However….this place is a health hazard. Many reviewers have mentioned seeing mice run around in the dining room. Well, that’s very true. My group saw multiple mice scurry under nearby tables and underneath the host stand. If that’s how the dining room is, it worries me what the kitchen is like. It seems like every reviewer who has mentioned mice has been told by their server that they will tell the manager, but nothing is being done about this problem.
My group has notified the city health department, so hopefully that helps get this mouse problem resolved or this place shut down until it is resolved.
Ordered delivery food was wrong and what we received wasn’t very good
This is an update from my last review several years ago. Visited for an early lunch and was greeted by Betty, our server. As I often to when at a restaurant, I asked her to order for me. I told her two things usually happen - I get what the cook suggests when asked, or I get what the server usually orders for themselves. Never do I get anything not on the menu. This time, she served me a plain mushroom/cheese/bacon omelet with a side of hashbrowns. Plain, but incredibly delicious. (Bacon makes dirt taste good!) It was excellent. My only complaint is the lack of a ketchup bottle on the table, and my Diet Coke refills were a little slow. I didn't ask what the surprise desert was, but it was almost better then the bacon - 5 or 6 layers of moist cake with a ton of frosting and coconut. Thanks Betty - you were a great server and we had a great time. See pic for the half eaten meal. My partner had the fried chicken - light, crispy and perfectly cooked.
The French fries are amazing!!! Great atmosphere, food and service!
Possibly the best spot for families to get brunch. Scrumptious options for most dietary needs. Cozy yet spacious vibe and the pastries are sublime!

On expensive side. A cup of tea is $6? The maple syrup scone is good and at the decent price of $4. Staff could do a better and quicker job at bussing tables. For me a once in a year visit is enough. Prices don’t increase due to inflation at eateries. They increase due to the $15 minimum wage employees feel they deserve for low skilled jobs.

I can't help it. I always get the same thing: avocado toast (gluten-free bread available) with two organic soft scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Served to perfection every time !! My partner gets the Zone Omelette. That is an excellent egg white omelette, but with one yolk left in there. Their bison sausage is worth mentioning as well. And now they carry THC beverages too. Simply the best breakfast in town (there's also one located in St. Paul) . Take some yummy pastries to go. I always get their chocolate chip cookies. As a matter of fact , I get two.

We went there for dinner last night. We decided to do self-serve because we had waited for several minutes to be seated. After we ordered our food we went to sit down and then immediately noticed several mice scurrying around our table! We were quite shocked and disgusted as we had never seen this before in a restaurant!! We moved to a different part of the restaurant only to be told that we weren't allowed to sit there because we had done self-serve. We told her we moved because of the mice, she did not act surprised at all, but said she would have to check. as we were deciding what to do they brought out our food. I tried one Noodle and it was not good- did not have any flavor. At that point, we had all lost our appetite and we spent some time talking to the manager about getting our money back. We told them about the mice. They said they knew and they were getting an exterminator out the next day. I've gone back and forth about posting this but I really feel this is a health hazard with mice carrying diseases- who knows how long those mice have been in there running around and what they have touched. I hope this restaurant guess the problem taken care of as soon as possible.
Beautiful space. We sat at the bar at what must have been shift change. Seemed out of sorts. Bloody was ok. Straw and a cocktail napkin would have helped. Drink on the specialty menu that no one knows how to make seems ridiculous. Maybe just go for the food.
