This is a fun hometown bar with great food. It was lit up for Christmas. It had touch tunes juke box and lots of locals hanging out

Don’t bother.

It makes me so sad to say, but all the good bartender/servers are gone or at most working 1 night a week.

The rest of the time you’ve got slow, disinterested kids with their drunk boyfriends hanging around the bar for free drinks.

The food was never phenomenal. And cheap drinks are only worth it if you can get them refilled.

There are a dozen bars within 5 miles. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those.

This bar totally sucks.
Walked in the bartender guy walks up and is like can you guys move down 2 seats we did. Doesn't even say thank you plus does not even ask what you would like to drink. The lady bartender has been right in front of us for the past 10 mins and clearly knows we walked in didn't offer what we would like to drink and both bartenders were walking around.
A customer noticed and said yes their service is very poor. 👎

I know the burgers are good but the waitress just ignored me and my 96 year old mom when we went there. It was really busy and she seemed more concerned with serving the younger drinkers and everyone else walking in. So... we left after a half hour or so without even a word from her.

Don’t be a nerd, don’t be a dork.
Place rips, classic, no bullshit.
Great burgers, you don’t need a double.

They allow so many people to reserve that you can't even come in with 2 people and find a seat. We live four blocks away and are over it.

What a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon. This is exactly the type of bar you're going to want to vist if you're looking for a cool laid back place to grab a drink, and hang out. I highly recommend stopping by Frenchmans

Burgers are great, just well executed old school bar food. Staff can be spread thin but usually it's not their fault and they're always friendly. Tried their fish and chips for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, crispy fish and great tartar. Over all it's what you would expect out of your local minnesota dive bar.
