Please was a favorite growing up in South Minneapolis. My family would always order from here. It does seem like it’s taking a step back from his heyday. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or not but I’ve ordered the same meal for nearly 15 years and it seems like the food is only ok. Very impersonal but it is take out so maybe that’s to be expected.

Since i moved from south 46th and clinton i do stop in and grab a bite or 2 but most of all ive been going here for about 27 years always great food and i love the eggrolls and the sesame seed

I have been trying different Chinese places since I moved here & am sticking with Fresh Wok. The food is good. They are consistent. Service/ delivery is always good. I can order straight through them so my money is going to them & not a third party. Def try it out if you like Chinese as much as I do :)

There is a 1 dollar service charge for using a credit card.The food is good, though we wish that you could order just chicken by itself instead of being forced to have it as a combo.Parking: Shared with various other businesses.

The egg rolls were phenomenal. The sesame chicken was disappointing and the sauce was congealed, even after reheating and doctoring it up with some sauce I had at home couldn’t remedy the fish oil and chewy chicken that was over breaded as 1/3 to 1/2 of the pieces of chicken were indeed breading and not chicken which was disappointing. I wasn’t going to write a review until I discovered that this food truly upset my stomach and has been making my insides rumble for the last 8 hours with numerous trips to the restroom. I had high aspirations for this establishment and am very disappointed that the food was not to my standards for Asian cuisine.I will not be back.

Really solid Chinese food. I’ve tried a lot of Chinese places but this place has nailed dumplings, cream cheese wontons, and egg rolls. Definitely recommend if you’ve never tried.
