Gigi's is a community treasure, beyond its ability to provide great food at reasonable prices in a charming setting that makes its customers feel at home. The excellent staff exudes warmth and shows competence in a humane way. Gigi's is also a place to meet friends and colleagues to discuss ideas; it's a creative hub.
It's the best!

We are from out of town. So we came to this cute little place.Great service and good food. I order a Cobb salad. It was so good, but they didn't have ranch dressing witch was a bummer. Living in the Midwest ranch is like our ketchup. I suggest they sould start making there own ranch.

This spot has been on my list for a while and did not disappoint! The prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and kind and the service was super quick! I think our food came out in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The breakfast burrito was 10/10!

Overall a great experience!
The drinks were fantastic. I tried to Carmel latte and the jasmine tea. Both great!
The salmon toast was unbelievably good!

Adorable cafe serving up delicious meals, including breakfast until 3pm. The walls are decorated with cool locally-made artwork. We did have to wait in line for a little while to order, but it was worth it and the food came out quickly.

I am surprised the rating for Gigi's isn't higher. Stopped here for lunch on a whim and on a somewhat busy Friday with no expectations, and found this to be a quiet gem. A big shout-out to Francis - very helpful, friendly cashier/server. We ordered coffee drinks - me with a simple Americana that was excellent, and the others with their fru-fru drinks that are less coffee and more sugar and creamers, but the consensus is they were all excellent. The cinnamon rolls were good, but too dry, and could have used 13 seconds in the microwave before being served. The smoked turkey sandwich was excellent, along with the eggs and fries. The turkey sandwich order was somehow lost, and came out late, so Francis comped a very sinful chocolate peanut butter crunch brownie that was so rich I was full after 3-4 bites, which is saying a lot for a sugar junkie. I didn't visit the restroom, so there is no reporting on whether they use hand dryers or paper towels. Finally, the artwork hung all over the walls is wonderful, a nice addition to an already somewhat eclectic atmosphere.

GIGIS IS THE REASON I PASSED MY BOARDS
I absolutely love Gigis! Their staff is warm and welcoming and their food is great! Overall I am very picky about my coffee shops for studying- in my opinion, a good coffee shop to study at should have at least the following:
1) outlets
2) good food (not just bakery)
3) good coffee
4) good hours (Gigis is open late and serve amazing dinner too!),
5) good atmosphere (I love how Gigis is laid back, has art from many local artists- which is all for sale, and they are super queer friendly!)
As a BONUS😍 Gigis also serves beer, wine and cocktails! Great for the late studying when your brain is numb and you're ready to start relaxing finally 🤪
I would highly recommend Gigis to literally anyone who likes food, coffee, art, or people (but if you're introverted that's ok you can be introverted here too)
My favorite is the breakfast burrito and cold press express!
Update to my review: I studied at Gigis relentlessly for my Canadian Physiotherapy Boards. I studied there for nearly 3 months, studying for hours on end. 80% of my studying was accomplished at Gigis with special appreciation for the friendly and amazing staff, food and coffee, outlets, wifi, and overall amazing atmosphere with art and decor. Seriously. I couldn't have done this (or had the level of focus and determination- despite some wavering at times) without Gigis!
Gigis rocks!

I've lived in the neighborhood for years and have wanted to like Gigi's but unfortunately they keep missing the mark. I've ordered breakfast several times and the proportions are always off. Today, I paid $4 to have bacon added to my breakfast burrito for a pick up order via Toast Tab, and was given Mushrooms, no bacon, instead. That being said, the location is great and the patio is cute. I just wished the food was more consistent.

I just moved into this part of the neighborhood and Gigi's Café has been the best part of it! The food and soups are phenomenal. The hot honey sandwich with the curry lentil soup are a great combo. The service is top teir. Especially if you get the owner Laura. Definitely stop by if you can because it will become your new daily spot

Nice spot, not too expensive.
The BLT had too many onions and they were pretty wet which made the sandwich fall apart in my hand which was a bit sad 😔

Biscuits are pretty good. Went early on a Saturday morning and my partner and I just got biscuits and coffee and the woman working (the owner maybe?) was a little huffy about it. I’ve hosted at restaurants and it’s understandable to want to save tables for those with big orders but it wasn’t even busy yet.
Love the scones & breakfast scrambles. Quick service even though they were really busy. Perfect for a weekend brunch.
