I just had a cup of coffee and a sweet roll. The service was good and quick. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Bought a bag of goodies from Too Good To Go, and man did it not disappoint. Everything that was a day or two old was amazing. Can't wait to try more on the menu.

great service and selection. Its the only place in the city for a cannoli and coffee. A homemade one at-least and you will see a line and its worth the short wait.

The Breakfast Biscuit truly is a big as my head!!! That review caused us to go in for breakfast! And hands down, 'BEST' vegetarian breakfast sandwich I've 'ever' had in my life!!!!! ONLY thing that would make it better is habanero cheese. Everything about this place is AMAZING!!!

P.S. as you can see, I scraped my plate clean 🤭😋🤤

Air quality has got to be violating building codes. Food not good either.

Was there today and am extremely disappointed. Ordered the hot honey chicken because the description sounded great. As soon as I got my dish, I noticed how nasty the chicken looked. Obviously a cheap chicken thigh that had been through a quick defrost and thrown on a pan. Not to mention the meat was a grayish color and not even seasoned. Against my better judgement, I decided to give it a try anyway. Took two bites and sent it back. Not only was the chicken horrible, but the toast was burnt. The cook put the burnt side down as if I wouldn't notice or something?
I took the dish to the front and let the cashier know the problem. She said they would make a new one. I told her I didn't want that dish again because it will be made with the same chicken. She stared at me blankly, maybe her first time working in customer service? No apologies, no suggestions, nothing. I told her I would just get a soup instead. Wasn't offered any kind of refund or discount even though the sandwich was $15 and the soup was considerably less. So I'm out the difference. Thanks.
Absolutely horrible experience.

Update: looks like the owner only responds to good reviews 😆

I offered this feedback privately via an email to Gigi's to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day, but I didn't get a response. I was excited to find a space for co-working where we could also get lunch within walking distance of my house. I also love that they have options to accommodate my dairy allergy and fill the walls with local art.

The last time I visited, it was casual, seat yourself, with encouragement to linger. This was not the case during my more recent visit. The space was empty, so we moved to a larger table (the two top was tight for the two of us + laptops). We were told an artist was coming soon to hang art and the place would be filling up. While there was still plenty of table space as the lunch crowd came in, we were told we would need to move to the coffee bar even though we were planning to purchase lunch. We opted to leave and not spend more money.

The manager had a really uncomfortable energy that they carried with them throughout the cafe. It made for a really disappointing and unwelcoming experience. The assigned seating was weird, especially since you still needed to go to the counter to order. Even the new signage does not seem like a place to linger despite the board game and community table events. I miss the former vibe of Gigi’s and don’t plan to be back while that manager is running the show.

The other employees were lovely and brought calmer, more welcoming energy. My friend said the scone she ordered was the best scone she had ever had, and I've enjoyed the food and coffee I've ordered from Gigi's.

I was in the area for work and decided to try out a new place. I walked in, zero line so I approached the counter to order from the two employees. They both starred at me with awkward reproach, like I was inconveniencing them. Paid $20 for a salad with greasy, half cut chicken. Not sure what I did to be treated like that but I won't be returning.

Gigis is a VIBE. The local art is so cool, the people cultivate a good welcoming place in the neighborhood, and the food and coffee are delish! I am celiac and appreciate the many gluten free options including dessert, most of the menu, and soup!!!

Gigi's is one of the best cafes in town, I don't know how I lived here for 4 years before knowing about it. The food is locally-sourced and always high quality. You drink coffee? Thats great too. The staff is tremendously kind. The regular rotation of art is awesome, we need more places that do this.
