Grand Ole Creamery has really good ice cream, but nothing that will blow you away. But here's the thing -- I love all ice cream, and nothing beats stopping by to grab a waffle cone on a hot summer day after spending some time at Lake Nokomis or along the parkway. Great location and accessible to walkers and bikers.
Loved the cone, the right kind of sweet and such a nice texture! Ice cream itself was good but not spectacular, maybe I have yet to discover their awesomest flavor but so far I haven't. However, the cone totally makes it worth your while!

Fabulous ice cream! We stopped there after a heavy dinner, so we only had a little room for ice cream and it did not disappoint. My girlfriend had the macdaddy and I had raspberry chocolate and both were delicious. Service was friendly, fast and efficient.
