A friend and I visited on 4/20 and enjoyed the Carne Asada con Camarones, as well as margaritas. The drinks leaned a little sweet but they were fine margs. The food was phenomenal—hands down one of my favorite food experiences in Minneapolis. My friend said it was like a good home cooked meal; I have to agree. Filling, tasty, and comforting.

Everything was delicious. You can tell they put a lot of effort and care into the food. The pozole was some of the best we've ever had. The carne asada and shrimp were also delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Great happy hour deals. Service was amazing.

Loved the food, the service and the feel. Bad location as it's kind of hidden.
The tamales were disappointing. Dough tasted undercooked and didn't have a good flavor. They barely put any meat filling in the tamales, it was mostly all dough and didn't come with any sauce.

My husband and I come here every Valentines Day. We love the seafood, the prices, the beer. I can't get over the fish soup which, with bread, makes a very satisfying winter night meal.

First visit to this venue for lunch, and left a bit disappointed. The food was displayed well on the plates, and the portions were relatively generous, but the morsels were tasteless and flat. Javier was a pleasant server, and was upbeat in his interactions with us. He could tell that we were not tickled pink with the food, and try to use humor to bolster the climate. Perhaps we simply caught them at an off moment, but cannot highly recommend this location for traditional Mexican food. Their menu is extensive, and perhaps they're spreading themselves too thin.
