Usually don't rate venues but this one deserves it. There was lots of space to not feel crowded, plenty of upstairs seating for when you want to take a break from dancing ?. The upstairs also had a deck which was nice for fresh air. Overall great vibes and look forward to being back!

Went to a dance agenda house show here recently and loved it! Great vibe. This is the first venue in Minneapolis that I have overwhelmingly positive things to say about. Looking forward to seeing more live music here.
Great venue. Good vibe. Food is provided by Parlour which is good.

Very Fun Vibe!!! We were in on St. Patrick's Day weekend and had a blast! Great music selection throughout the night!
The space of the Green Room is absolutely stunning, between the incredible upstairs balcony portion to the chill lounge vibe, and the dance floor is huge.
The staff was super friendly, the drinks were tasty as can be, and they had people walking around handing out jello shots.
This is the exact kind of bar that Uptown needs and has my highest recommendation.

Recently went with friends to see Free Throw w/ Heart To Gold & Slow Joy, and had a great time! Reasonably priced drinks (if you're buying a high noon at a concert, be realistic) and awesome people working. Had extra ear plugs in bulk which was nice. Would recommend.

This was my 2nd time at the Green Room. Both times I saw live music. I like the layout of the venue, but there are a couple simple things that could make it better.
Drinks are expensive, even for Uptown. For example, $11 for a short Jameson Ginger Ale. Bartenders were friendly though.
Last night we saw 3 local bands play, who we're friends with and have seen play multiple times at other venues. Unfortunately we didn't watch most of the show because we couldn't handle being inside for long, even with earplugs.
Although, the sound inside the venue was mixed well, it was painfully loud. Even though we sat outside most of the show, we could still barely hear each other talking and had to yell.
Another reason we chose to be outside is because it was a beautiful evening and it was way too hot inside...no AC or fans were rbalcony. It would be good to add some ceiling fans and/or industrial fans beside the stage to blow on the dance floor.
My last suggestion would be to add more barstools around the balcony to provide seating for people who have mobility issues and can't stand for several hours. There were tables on the patio, which was nice. A lot of the chairs were stacked up in the corner though.
I like the venue's overall vibe and feel like it has a lot of potential to become one of our local music scene's favorites with a couple small changes. I'm looking forward to seeing more music at the Green Room!
