Fun space, upstairs gets a hot and the sound struggles with prolonged screaming, but overall a good pace to catch a show. -1 star for ticketmaster ticketing.

Caught John Maus here last night. Super intimate space, plenty of space to dance or sit if you wanted. Had a good view of the performer pretty much at any place in the venue. Definitely a venue with character.
Drinks were reasonably priced. Will definitely be keeping tabs on this place - would love to attend another show here.

Last night when my friend and I went for a second round of drinks, one of the bartenders falsely accused my friend of having a fake 20 dollar bill and THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS. I believe my friend was racially profiled because the bartender did not actually check the bill. Apparently someone had been handing out fake money outside, so I understand some level of confusion. However, my friend had gotten this cash from an ATM and it was certainly real. He could have easily said “I’m sorry but we can’t take cash right now” if he didn’t know how to identify real money. Instead he immediately said “this is fake money” and when we questioned him he became extremely antagonistic and asked “do you want me to call the cops?” It was so horrible, confusing, and disorienting and made my friend cry. We saw one of the fake 20s on the floor later and it was extremely obvious that it was fake and nothing remotely similar to her real 20 bill, which he almost didn’t even give back to us until I demanded! The bartender left the bar and never came back or apologized. ALL of the other staff were kind and helpful explaining what had happened with the fakes from earlier and asking what they could do to help. It seemed like they recognized it was real but he may have been their boss. I’ve never been this disgusted with a business and I’ve never experience anything like this which is what leads me to believe it was discriminatory.

Green Room Minneapolis is a great space for events! Tons of open space, large bar with overly helpful staff and bartenders, a big outdoor patio, large wrap-around upper level that opens into a wrap-around outdoor 2nd level deck.
Spacious, friendly, and entertaining; always a joy!

Beautiful chill spot in uptown, I went on Thursday for the snapped open mic night and had a great time. Drinks were good too! Parking garage available right next to it. Don’t park in the McDonald lot unless you’re ready to say goodbye to your car 🤣

The TCUP Night was the most fun! The TCUP Members really made the vibe come out and showed everyone how they can be more active within their community.
Watching all of the bands was so amazing! Can’t wait for the next TCUP show!

Hello uptown! The owner of this place is incredibly hostile in my experience. Not a good neighbor, and I'd never recommend patronizing this establishment based on his attitude alone.
